I agree that people need to be able to voice their opinions. I'm curious what line the OP crossed to earn the ban. At some point the ranting is just hostile noise and not constructive. I wouldn't declare it unacceptable until you see what was said. Without moderation the forums will just descend into a worthless mess.

What I can say, is that the feedback is great - and I am excited to say that a lot of the things that are a problem are being worked on. Also- that there will be a lot more consistent information coming out so that you all will know what we are doing on a week to week basis and will feel like things are getting done. Again, nothing that we are doing is a simple fix - our goal is to make a game that you guys like while also working within the parameters that we have.

I completely understand your frustrations, but what I can do is get you the information. As for the fixes, those are also on the horizon. So feel heard! I hear you! :D And I agree!

I hope I don't ever get banned, I don't want to quit dust but the forums are what keep me coming back

They need to start banning more people TBH or start moving threafs or closing threads in genersl discussion. Stuff like "I'm goingto play planet side 2" should be closed instantly. If it's the same offender ban that person.

Also troll threads ban that person immediately.

Is there a bug on the player count thing? Almost 5K? Wow, thought this game was doing better on launch day. Seriously it's player count is less than DCUO's.

I wonder why...

- Lack of Developer Communication?

- Lack on non-broken gameplay?

-Making the game feel like a job?

-Lack of balance for a VERY long time?

-Lack of a good training mode?

Summary: Inferior to the AUR version in every aspect other than direct damage. Requires an enormous amount of skill training to use (approximately 5 weeks of grinding out the SP cap every single week without purchasing any other skill). Requires a significant amount of CPU / PG to equip which makes it near impossible to equip on lower tier dropsuits (and even high tier ones) without giving up a lot of other equipment.

Players must spec into high-end dropsuits / CPU/PG upgrades in order to equip these with other equipment, adding on to the time required to use these grenades.

Fused Locus Grenades

Price: 15 AUR

CPU Cost: 9

PG Cost: 2

Prerequisites: Zero Requirements

SP Cost: Zero

Blast Radius: 6.0 meters

Damage: 400

Summary: Superior to the Thukker Grenade in almost every aspect. Significantly wider blast radius makes it much easier to abuse. Can be purchased by any player who pays for AUR. Requires just a fraction of the CPU/PG cost of the Thukker so it can be fitted on almost any dropsuit loadout without any sacrifices. There is no direct ISK equivalent to this grenade.

Yep, totally a fair system. AUR purchasers definetely don't have the advantage here....

22. Post constructively.
Negative feedback can be very useful to further improve DUST 514 provided that it is presented in a civil and factual manner. All users are encouraged to honestly express their feelings regarding DUST 514 and how it can be improved. Posts that are non-constructive, insulting or in breach of the rules will be deleted regardless of how valid the ideas behind them may be. Users are also reminded that posting with a lack of content also constitutes non-constructive posting.

Deleting posts is one thing, but outright banning someone just creates a chilling effect on the speech that is communicated on the forums.

So on my main in a reply to a post, One of the things I stated was that this game is garbage. How it's this many years in production yet all these issues are here that shouldn't be.

I get forum banned for this? Stating non constructive rant? It wasn't a rant, it's a fact. Reading the forum rules it doesn't say you're not allowed to criticize this game, but apparently that's the case. Although according to other forum rules, 75% of posts should be deleted and/or get people banne, I. E.: trolling, flaming is prohibited and being courteous is required.

But no that's alright... Instead ban the people who criticize your ****** execution of making a game.
