So a thought that crossed the empty cavern known as my mind. What if the reason lasers were nerffed and there are no laser turrets is that they use up too much resources of the PS3? Could you imagine the framerate issues you would have with a handful of LAVs with laser turrets always firing? Would look pretty sweet though... |

No? They wouldn't be be in the game at all if that was the case. Why would they take up too many resources? The beam? Would be negligible in terms of memory. |

That wasn't even the old Viziam was it? That thing was straight OP. Your 44-3 doesn't surprise me too much. You play the long range game, and play it well.
I just miss seeing lasers on the field. Those, snipers, and HMGs were my favorite suits to hunt down with shotties. Now, it's like they're all extinct. |

I miss the lasers, and had to move on to something elese. The only reason I even used the LR was because the game got boring, than the NDA was lifted, and people like the LR videos, or either hated them. It was an OP weapon, but now it is just a BROKEN shell of the beauty it once was....... |

Everything is so bad right now, I can't decide what to spec into.
Looks like "The Last of Us" or something else may get a few months of play while this one gets corrected. Sadly, I don't trust it enough to buy Passive Boosters at the moment. |

I have the feeling they will be a bit rough seeing armor is the more prevalent "tough" tank. Though I would definitely grab one, put straight lasers and start a light show on. |

Best part will be seeing if they keep the current model for Minmatar and Amarr tech having greater bonuses against the other's main tank type.
I think we'll be seeing a ton of Minmatar and Amarr HAVs for a while after they release. Should make for some entertaining fights. |

I miss them, they had some problems particuarly the viziam (broken POS) but a decent level in sharpshooter and a good perch allowed you to do the laser rifles most effective job, area denial. You could make it fatal to cross certain parts of the map. I miss doing that  . still it was kind of OP and annoying, especially near the end of chrome were everyone and his mother was speccing into them, that said I took great pleasure in killing viziams with the standard laser rifle. |
