We're in a cruel universe and I'm prepared to hit and defend on all levels. I forge gun Logi-LAV with SMG side arm and it's pretty unstoppable. HMG just isn't any fun anymore. :(

Few more weeks I'll have a proper Logi-LAV set up and a better SMG. Tears will be rollin' on how ass I am in the future ;) It's just a pub stomp combo though. Serious matches I'm stuck camping objectives waiting for shotgunners to give me a try. Been fund to find 1-2 shotgunners that actually can kill me. I slap on a scanner on my LAV and use it as a barricade. So the only thing that can mount a decent attack and not get rolled over are scouts.

Ok...not saying these dudes aren't good or anything, but the leaderboardas are kind of a joke considering the skirmish stats tracking was bugged for the longest.

On top of that, the players on the top probably didn't have to grind against protostompers like many others in the game.

That said, I usually get a 3 or higher KDR in matches these days, but my overall won't reflect it for awhile because of what I had to go through to get here. I will keep getting better as I progress, so I will be close to the top of the pile in time!

Get a Logi-LAV and you'll get 10+ kdr's a match. My KDR almost slipped under 4 until I figured out how ownage the Logi-LAV was lol.
A heavy fighting straight up has too many disadvantages to not die. But we were meant to die in the first place - CCP just doesn't know how to hit that sweet spot to make it fun enough we don't care how often we die.

Meh... Dropships that could fly, scouts who could strafe, tanks.... tanks everywhere - this is easy mode. Game sucks now.

3 is just an average...I've gone like 20 n 2 several times it just depends on the match...also I only use mlt suit and standard HMG for now....not speccing into amarr basic frames cuz I don't wanna risk having wasted SP on it.
Having only 1H n 1L really blows though

Zatara's post is on point. I would have to nominate a heavy in my corp though. Boomer Dues Mortis. Dude is near 8.00 kdr and only ran/runs standard gear. He is a great guy as well.

his current KD is due to 40k + kills last build being a MD logi. sure he was quite good at it and was a sound logi that would belong in any logi discussion

as heavy, sure he's good (not hard to be) but top 10? pfft. hang around the supply depot some more so u can use officer weapons in pubs, 80% of the time is using an AR which automatically excludes you from the list.

sure maybe a top 10 forger, but that's a different discussion altogether.

I'm not really sure who any of these heavies are or how they managed to choke down this game for the past five months.

I stand by the statement that the game is easy mode AV wise and pub stomping in your fat suit with five other protos doesn't count because 90% of the player base doesn't have even close to your gear level. I have seen very few heavies that impress me. Most of you running proto sentinel melt like teen girls walking into Justin Beiber's dressing room and i don't even have close to your SP.

Run militia scout against a team of all protobears for a few matches and then tell everyone how good you are. Three builds ago it would have been possible to do that and go 20-0, BTW. Now? Meh - grind2win.
