So I just tried it ( just had to see what it was about) wasn't really all the satisfying in the slightest. However I have to admit getting the SP and managing to cook a really nice dinner was nice.
Still I would much rather be fighting and earning the SP and ISK that Im getting> That being said I didn't quite AFK the whole match and jumped out to see if I could capture the nearest objective....didn't work.
So my real question is to MCC AFKers. What do you actually do when you join a game and AFK it? |

I joined a game once and I was the only one on my team that wasn't AFK...
That being said, you can assume I got my ass beat from the opposing team who actually played and were not AFK. |

My gf just got home from surgery in which they broke her jaw into six pieces and rebuilt it so she needs a lot of care.when she gets a little better I def plan on afk camping mcc so I can still tend to her and get my cap ^_^ .would I rather actually play? Hell yes lol. But not at her expense. |

I usually do yard work, cook. sometimes post here but usually when im testing something out which means I test it then afk the rest of the match. last time I babysitting drunks. |

20$ an hour but never more the 12 hours a week so meh need to do more then just that for money but its fun. |

Poop, read, watch twitch, afk a second account on another ps3, play on blops 2 on xbox, make dinner, eat dinner, hide eggs for next easter, vote for senator kodos, do slave labor for senator kodos, post on forums, post on twitter, respond to hatr mail, jump on youtube, plan my skill tree, laugh at umad because i afk threads, etc etc... |

Sadly MMCAFK is a viable and efficient strategy. SP and ISK while mitigating the cost in your actual time and loss.
Classic game theory, players always take the easiest route for success. You really can't blame the players, its CCPs fault for not producing a fix.
Similar circumstances exist in Eve. Eve is this grand tapestry of Risk verse Reward, with two massive flaws; its more efficient in terms of loss to run levels 4 missions solo and with a little effort and some marginal social play its more effience just to run empire incursions. In terms of isk gain, when you factor in effort and 'travel time" there is almost no need to perform any other task in eve unless you want to.

It's a game... it would make sense to enjoy the ride... not just think of it as an obstacle in the way of your isk and sp collection. |
