ive been tapped by lavs going fairly fast and i only get damaged are you suggesting touching an enemy LAV will kill you?

That is a matter of opinion and has nothing to do with this thread.

There are some metrics involved. I miss people often enough that I have to come around for a second or third pass. Usually I end up doing a quick 180 and coming right back at them from only a couple meters away. This doesnt give me much chance to build up speed and I do not always get a 1-hit-kill, sometimes you gotta run em over a couple times.

Additionally there are many instances where the person gets "caught" on the hood of my car and is simply dragged along for the ride rather than dying. There are other times when you clip a target using the side or rear of the vehicle and this *rarely* results in a kill. I see where you are coming from but I think all in all things aren't so bad.

They probably had Sentinel suits filled with Complex plates.

I agree a LAV ramming you from a complete stop 2m away from you killing you at 3mph is really stupid. Don't tell me I don't have the time to roll on the hood unhurt. You go over me? I got a metal suit with 10mm thick plates, don't tell me I should be insta-killed. I should get some damage, but you should get stuck on me.

I agree at high speed, it should insta-kill, and get substantial damage on the LAV. Hitting a Heavy suit should feel like hitting a bear on the road.

I am sure when CCP will fix this (and they will), we will see another bunch of whiners asking a respec and cry all their tears because they used Mil SP into LAV to specifically do the dead-taxi in a LLAV.

Step 1: light or scout suit.
Step 2: side step the LAV
Step 3: repeat step 2 til the driver jumps out in frustration
Step 4: gun him down
Step 5: ?????
Step 6: Profit ( in the form of lulz)

Well sorry to go off topic but heavies are situational. Catch a heavy in the compound/"city" or any other close combat area and you will get smashed. Catch a heavy in the open, which only bad heavies would do, the he is easy prey. I think heavies are great but only in close combat and confined area, like how it's meant to be used I believe( on the defense).
