we should have a stat for this. A disconnect ratio. i feel like i am winning if i can get into a battle without disconnecting. this is about as fun as taking a month to skill into a suit. netflix is beating dust nowadays. perhaps a netflix to dust ratio. most dust bunnies on my psn list are watching netflix. done ranting, coddle me |

Someone made a thread about fixing this problem earlier. You should look back a few pages and find it. For me, just turning off media sharing did the trick. Now I no longer disconnect. |

This has been a problem since i first started playing months ago. I dont even care anymore, catchin up on Fringe. lookin into planetside 2. From what i hear dust lifted all its gameplay from there.
its just a rant. i vented. let this get drown by other people crying about important things. |

Problem is on your end buddy, I can't ever recall getting DCed from Dust.
I would advise getting a new ISP and/or upgrading your network hardware. |

UMM I guess you weren't ONLINE and booted off when the DDoS attack started up?
To make my point.... SONY demands/commands/recommends you leave Upnp on, now if you go over to the tech support section of this forum you will find a sticky post from CCP telling you to disable your routers Upnp.....so excuse me if I don't think CCP understands the way sony ps3 operates and is making some rather silly mistakes assuming sony just did it the industry standard way, they are used to doing with their pc game.
I've had Media Server disabled since R1 and 2 ps3's ago.....umm my best guess is that they still have old code laying around from when you needed a UVT in order to use voice. Now as a ps3 user, I have never had to pay to use voice in game, but ccp tried that route and now we are left with voice that cuts out followed by someone DC-ing |
