In this link on "general discussion" I opened a thread about the possible locked or ejection of passengers from their tank, but this is still a problem that is extended to all vehicles in the game then, considering that ccp has included the possibility to send back your vehicle I'd like to use it to my liking and not waiting for the ... to come down and go away. Possible solutions:
1) Eject button: ability to eject passengers at any time you wish.
2) Locked doors: Lock / unlock access to the vehicle
3) Recall vehicle: Call back your vehicle also manned by denying access in the driving seat
Other solutions?? Do you all agree?? Let's hear it and write your nick |

Totally agree with everything.
The locked doors would be awesome! Your squad should be allowed to go in your tank, if you don't want, you just say the should go out. But everyone else should not. I'm not a technology freak, so I don't know if it's possible to lock your tank, like you lock a squad.
I fall in love with the idea of an eject button.
One of those options you gave... please CCP one of them must be possible?! |

or at least only let the owner in the driver seat I don't think any tank owners would mind, if I call it in, I expect to use it if I pay big money, I expect to enjoy it.. something must be done, |

I avoided having my tank stollen the other day at the expense of having to sit in the back of the map behind a hill waiting for everything to recharge. ( took around 3 minutes ) because I knew... just knew that the special ed kid sitting in the turrets that had not once stopped firing since he got into them would take the tank the moment I got out to repair it. It is ungodly annoying that we have to deal with people robbing your **** like that. In battlefield 3 there was nothing you could do about it because it was open for the entire team but with this game, you have to build it... and pay for it.... and they cost a LOT!! |

I think squad vehicles should be green and game for squad mates. Blue vehicles should require a hack. In order to complete the hack a notification should pop up that it'll require 500,000 isk |

In a year of people requesting this the only significant change has been to implement what seems like a longer delay for people other than the owner to enter the vehicle once it has been deployed. |

Lock function is desperately needed. At best, when I call down my tank, blueberries run off towards the objectives. In between the best and worst, blueberries might pile in. Hovering around the worst, I desperately want to recall my vehicle and blueberries pile inside. At worst, I happen to be in a bad position to actually get INTO my tank when it comes down because it comes down in a weird place and a blueberry reaches her first, takes it and goes around the map not really knowing what he/she is doing until the tank is inevitably blown up by AV/installations/tanks.
The Worst Possible Scenario happened to me at 1:30 p.m. EST, 6/18/13 |

like the idea, but change it to the price of the vehicle, payable to the merc who called it in. |

These issues are why the logi lav is being used only as killing machine and not support. Ive tried to use it to get from point to point to deliver uplinks, hives, reps, revives, just to have a blueberry that cany even activate any of the modules steal then suicide. If your tired of people just using lavs and murdermobiles, than stop trying to steal friendly ones. If you see a black amd yellow lav with a black and yellow suit come to you he is trying to support you, but not by giving you an expensive vehicle to waste. |

Locking, or at least the forced eject ability. Something I often do is bring a tank in for a particular task, and when that has been completed, I bring it to the back and recall it.
This works when I have 2 of my corpies in the tank. But when you get that one ****** in, that just WON'T LEAVE, there isn't anything you can do. So you sit at the back of the map for the rest of the match while he shoots dark patches in the map texture. |

locking vehicules just makes sense. I don't know about the eject but it would make sense to still be able to recall even if there are people inside, it should be your call at the price they cost. |

Nothing sucks worse than calling in your 1m ISK tank to only have a spam buttoning blueberry steal it, drive off and crash into a wall. Can we PLEASE limit the Driver seat to the original player or his/her squadmates?
The lock would disappear under the following conditions:
The player who owns the vehicle dies. The vehicle is hacked. The vehicle is left unmanned for 30 seconds. |

Well, if you run with a corp/organised squad the idea of a locked/ejection vehicle poses problems for you. What if you want someone else to drive(Designated Drivers)? What if you die after leaving the drivers seat and the passengers are sitting ducks(Upon death, is it a 'free agent')? I agree that HAV and DropShips should be pilot locked to the player that called them, but anything else will just compound the problem. Maybe dont leave the vehicle and get repair modules, instead of trying to repair it outside. I know its cheaper to hop out and repair rather than using an expensive repair mod(but i think thats the pay off for having the mod, you dont need to exit the vehicle). As for the blueberries, they'll always jack your ride if its convienient. |

As a pilot i support this idea. At least the locking ability. If i eject someone out of my assault dropship wile in the air thats just as bad as theme getting blown out of the sky. Drop ships aint cheap. |

What I would propose is the ability to initiate the recall while in the vehicle(even with other players inside). Once activated the vehicle would go into lockdown, leaving active modules running if they already are but disabling further modules from being activated and prevent movement of any kind(no turret use either). An RDV would come to pick it up(or have a 10 second delay). Once the RDV attaches or the delay ends all players are kicked from the vehicle and it's sent back.
I also agree with the kick and lock options, although you should not be able to kick when outside the infantry safe zone with a calculation to prevent being kicked if the inertia could send the player more than 25m into the red zone - even so there would be a few spots to drop players where they can't climb out for some trolling fun). |

-If squad is locked, only squad can pilot the vehicles. Blue can still come for the ride. -if owner hits triangle to switch to the blue manned turret, the blue is forced into the next available seat. If none are available, he is launched 140m straight into the air! -recalling a vehicle with a blue inside, well let them die, takes 15ish seconds for the "rdv" to come. Plenty of time to get out.
No UI is needed, just lock your squad up if you don't want to share.
