I'd say it'd probably be at most another year before PS3 begins Sony slow cycle of mothballing, as Sony typically supports it's previous generation for a while before fully embracing their next-gen hardware. So you'll see several games released on both platforms, and still some support for the PS3, but slowly they'll start shutting everything down.
I'd say within that year is the maximum amount of time CCP has to get their stuff in gear. If they don't, DUST will die with the PS3, and be widely mocked by all but the most hardcore of fans. This is your last chance CCP. Give us a game worth playing. |

It's sad that planetside on my intel hd 3k laptop can run planetside 2 better than dust...
I would expect there to be an unfair advantage if a ps4 player is fighting a ps3 one. |

dust fell on May 14th when CCP's marketing department won out whatever argument it had with the actual developers and pushed this game into full release in this state. |
