PS2 doesn't have the depth Dust currently has. In PS2 if you take the entire game world as your faction, you could go eat for 2 hours and the whole damn planet will be flipped to a different faction. It is a giant waste of time as nothing you do matters for longer than 30 minutes. You can't claim anything for yourself.
Dust on the other hand, you can claim a planet and hold it for weeks and GET money from it.
I could go on for hours about that, but that is the jest of it. Dust has more depth than Planetside 2. |

They're talking about more server merges because on average most continents only have 3-4 fights for a faction and the total numbers barely breaking 50. :( |

Oh warframe ps2 and warthunder I would love them all on ps4 make converting the current ds3 controller to work with them on my pc is a hassel and there all great games. I especially love warframes freedem of movement.
But no need to worry none of these games will cause dusy to become un worthy. Unreal 4 is already being used by ccp to develope this game for ps4 just aswell dust offers greater debth and playahility then ps or warframe. After all why would u want to fallow a convoy in planetside that demolishes everyone when u can get a fairer fight on dust with a little more risk reward pleasure. And warframe is just a co-op shooter that is only fun for so long |

But the UI is just getting better and better, and there is now a radial menu UI.

More continents soon(tm).
Dust will have a map generator.
The base (height map) will be the same.
Then there might be buildings inserted everywhere, difference moods, rivers, etc'.
But it will still be the same map underneath. |

The thing is the PS3 will basically become dusts bottleneck from here on. Also the difference in hardware will really show in PS3/4 with the PS4 having a greater draw distance. So they could cut the lifelines to the PS3 and go all in with the PS4, thus possibly even holding features back  , or continue it as a PS3 exclusive, terrible idea. |

i agree, i don't think this game was ready to leave beta yet but we will see what happens when the PS4 drops. |
