Calling the precision strike an orbital.
Precision strikes are called in from the warbarge; orbitals are called in from player controlled EVE ships.
So what to take away from this post is precision strike =/= orbital strike. |

Is this some sort of EVE thing trying to bleed thru and influence dust again.
It is an Orbie for 99% of the people I play with, there is no in game confusion.
But then again I refuse to use the A**** name given to being a tool and wrecking a PC Match in a game where server lag will most likely do a lot more damage, it will forever be known to me as Ewoking..... I needed wookies and got little space bears.
I'll even go Tropic Thunder with it, "I don't know the name, I just the sound it makes when it kills a man." |

Orbital is just easier to say....
In the heat of battle I'm much more likely to say "call in that Orbi now!" than I am to say "call in that Precision Strike now!". |

It's easier to call it an orb, so everybody calls it that.

So the simple fact is that a precision strike, is a strike from orbit, hence making it an orbital strike. The ingame interface even goes as far as saying "orbital support available". So go take your inaccurate attempt at grammar ****'ing elsewhere. |

When my squad gets 2500 points and I go to off-map support it is labeled "Orbital Strike" so that is what I will call it. |

Secondly, the callout be it Evetard or Warbage is called "OB". Not only did you post something completely worthless, but you were also wrong about it.
