I've said this before but I'm really getting sick and tired of going up against people who are able to eat away 1005 total hp in one second because they are using a freaking modded controller to fire the tactical assault rifles as if they were full autos.
There is only one way to fix this, lower the rates of fire on the tactical rifles, by default they have been left at about 700 rpm which is impossible for a human to fire at but capable for a hacked $200 controller.
If somebody pays money for a device not implemented into the game in order to increase their scores, then they do not deserve to play with the rest of us. Please, level the playing field for us legit players. |

I haven't seen anything that even suggests to me that people are using modded controllers. The truth is, you're probably just a bad player going up against someone far more skilled than you, and to save face after being torn to shreads by someone with a well trained trigger finger, you blame it on a controller. |

I hear they're almost full adults when they finish there training. Wish I knew the exact age now. But yea - they go all batman to fight titans - A show full of batman's runnin' around! You made me love the show even more now haha :D

I've seen this video. Here's why it's irrelevant:
1)The RoF shown isn't particularly high. Pretty much everyone can surpass this firerate easily, it's just not efficient beyond CQC (notice how that alone kills the turbo controller hypothesis).
2)The RoF i highly variable over the course of the video, pointing to manual action, not a clocked signal.
3)If you deduct the orbitals from the killcount you end up with a pretty common ~15 kills dealt by the Tac/nades combined. The shown performance is not suggestive of cheating in the first place.
Point one pretty much breaks the neck of the whole modded controller debate. The gun does have considerable recoil even at max skills and does not benefit from inhuman rates of fire outside of extreme close quarters. Rates of Fire around 7-8p/s are perfectly achievable by the average human and already at that RoF the weapon ceases to be usefull at sensible engagment distances.
Please show proof of:
A: A Tac that consistently pulls off max or near max RoF.
B: A Tac that can hit anything at all while utilizing that rate of fire.
If you cannot show both than we have to conclude that modded controller, even while they exist, do not provide significant benefits to performance and should not be used as a balancing metric. |
