Yeah, I think they are starting to do little tweaks... I've noticed a few things seemed to be working a little better for me. However, I didn't say anything at the time as one, how can you fit a positive post in the maelstrom of whining we have? I figured maybe I was just having a good day.
At the same time I think in this case a boycott would be stupid. If someone is that butthurt they need to just let go and walk away -- and let folks who enjoy the game actually enjoy the game in peace (well, combat anyway). |

I haven't spent a penny on DUST and probably never will. Not because I hate the game and want to protest, but because it's free to play and I simply don't care enough about my equipment in a fictional universe to spend actual money on it. It's a game, not a lifestyle. A free one at that. |

Closed beta had micro transactions as well.....unfortunately that is not the issue, people want lots of sp as quick as possible, the game is broken in places and incomplete but it is getting fixed. Buy or don't buy, that's your prerogative but CCP didn't hold a gun to your head and what would you have spent the money on otherwise? A round of golf (2hrs of chasing a ball going in the wrong direction) vs unlimited online interaction with some of the most interesting and diverse people around shooting other people in the face?
CCP has stated that they will listen to their entire client base, but they also give more weight to the people putting money in their pockets, so if you want something done...

And, when really dumb hyperbole, like, "spits in your face" is used, it makes taking anything you say really hard to take seriously or even consider it.
What constructive feedback? Nerf AV nades into the ground? Most posts I read are purely about nerfing things into nothingness. Then it happens. Then even less "feedback" comes into the equation because people finally got what they wanted, it seems. Which turns out to be not what they wanted at all. |
