Corps, chat channels, PC, and the New Eden universe are quite literally one of the only reasons people are staying.
Still, patience's are waning, and a simple 1 on 1 trade system NEEDS to be implemented ASAP.
When Android games like "The Infinite Black" can implement trading extremely well, complete with an auction house, Dust should have no problem at all.
FPS Gameplay is sorely lacking and needs focus first and foremost.
1 on 1 trading, if prioritized, can be used to put other non FPS mechanics on hold and to keep people's interest. They have until the next hard update to fix aiming and movement. Been with this game for over a year and even went to Fanfest, so I will at least give them that... However, I am not willing to waste another year on a game that is willing to take my money, yet is unwilling to fix core game mechanics. The Devs are super cool and all, but enough is enough. double QFT Triple QFT
The problems we're having now with core FPS mechanics, bugs and weapon balance are all issues that should have been resolved in beta. |

Nic Warlom! Ric Barlom! Dudes you`re my personal heroes now!
To the rest. Don`t like the game now? Quit. Come back in a year and see if things have changed. If not then you can still hate the game and try again in a year. If yes, then Game will be still free. Your stuff will be still there. And your stuff will still have (mostly) the same value as before. (it`s not that this is WoW where every level cap raising devalues your stuff completely). Oh and after a year you`ll have roughly 8.8mil SP to spend on **** too.
So if you don`t like it now. GTFO and take a break. |

Yeah I'll rage a lot but I'm gonna be sticking around here for a long time I imagine since I just got into EVE and playing both EVE and DUST on both sides of the divide is half the fun. I mean I get the perspective that most of the player base lacks.
Anyway this game will be great but it will take patience and understanding to help CCP ease into the FPS genre. |

Both of you guys couldnt have been more spot on. Although, I will probably wait until someone else gets it right. Aiming/movement (although improved slightly from their last fix attempt) still blows...especially movement.
Because even if i leave, no other game will sustain me because I've been spoiled by Dust's persistence gaming. I was spoiled by MAG's 32v32 and found it hard to play anything with low player counts. Now, I find it hard to play games that are just about pub matches. Sure, gameplay is great but it will become stale because there is no substance. |

People like myself who have put in dozens of hours hitting our weekly caps, supporting the game with boosters, etc. are only around because we are already invested in the game.
Look at the influx of new players that joined during the first week of Uprising. During peak hours we were nearing 10,000 players. Fast forward to now and you're seeing thousands less during those same times. The reason? It's simple. New players picked up the game, found it to be a heap of crap and then simply left. It was as easy as an uninstall to those people, they weren't tied up in the game at all.
Players that have been around for a few months however are too invested in their comradeship with corpmates, put too many hours into the game and have invested too much money to simply justify leaving.
To be honest though, I and many other people that are indeed invested are fed up and just leaving. It's taking too long to fix key issues and as a result people are leaving the game. Key issues that should have been resolved in beta. I see the potential in this game, don't get me wrong. But looking at the future compared to how the core basics of the present are muffed up leaves me wondering how we're even going to get there. I see ideas like boarding titans and such, but if I'm still going to be lagging constantly, getting stuck on terrain, or busy fighting the controls more than the guy in front of me, what's the point? |

Tbh, I've only seen numbers improve after PC was introduced. I've never seen it hit close to 10K and fall. It was at 4K and has gone up as high as 8K and still hits it at times. |

What you do not understand. Is that this game has potential.
But right now, its potential is all its going for.
If you'd played the older builds, you'd know that this build is nothing.
Just to put it into perspective, Skirmish 1.0 > ALL Game modes in Dust.

I'd love to see BF4 with some persistent game mechanics, better clan system. Or Dust, with the FPS mechanics that BF3 has. Movement is so-so in BF3. A LITTLE slow, but movement is easy, and the jump button allows you to either jump OR climb over obstacles with ease. (you don't get stuck on EVERYTHING they way you do in Dust) and the guns are balanced well (ROF vs dmg vs recoil vs hip-fire accuracy vs etc etc) with a couple exceptions here and there. |

It's not rocket science, boy and girls. Clearly there must be something wrong with my keyboard. Let me just type it one more time just to make sure. ... ok here I go Right now I currently dislike the game; however, I have played the game for almost a year, and as a consumer, I have regrettably obtained some loyalty to this product. Therefore, I will play this game until the next hard update. However, If I do not see improvement in the basic mechanics like Movement and Aiming I will quit. Quit? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. ;)
