I'm hoping that the very soon I got in my last response is actually soon rather then a month or more from now. |

I was so disgusted of how the other classes were now beating my butt that I just took a hiatus from the game. I now come on the site to see that there is a timed reset that I missed and I am very disappointed. If is my fault that I spent the points in a wrong way, but I did so with the intention of being competitive and with a limited knowledge of the other classes.
Anyways, what I am getting at is that you should really implement some kind of personal sp reset that we can buy because I feel I am not the only one disappointed in how I spent my points and this ''draft'' thing does not seem to be working as you are angering those that are waiting as well as those that do not come on the forums much. the problem with purchasable respecs is that it would completely defeat the purpose or meaning of our choices... though they really gave an EXTREMELY limited window for this respec with people being on hiatus, or having ragequit due to the new build... an extremely limited periodic respec might be more practical, akin to the EVE skill redistribution system(12 month timer before being able to respec a second time)... but this doesnt feel right for the theme still... SOMETHING could be implemented, but i dont know the BEST approach, i just think that the purchasable would be spammed way too much
I think if the cost was increased with each use and it took AUR or SP and ISK, and then was free for a period after major updates it might work. But it's hard to say. Also some sort of waiting period like with character termination would be a good too, so battles aren't just settled by who can spec the fastest. |

At this point I'm beginning to feel like a guinea pig in a twisted experiment designed to measure just how for CCP can push the playerbase. |

GM Grave wrote:GM Grave wrote:Update: 21st June Unfortunately the full and final list did not pass our deployment process. The procedures in place that prevented today's run are designed to protect the live server from even the most minor or risks and as such we have been forced to postpone until a more suitable and lower risk opportunity presents itself. The respec is now being reviewed by the development team with the goal of a Monday deployment. Once again we apologise for this further delay. [ Lead GM Grave | Project Lead | CCP Customer Relations | EVE Online | DUST 514 ]
So basically whatever program is run to accomplish respecs also poses a risk of creating network security holes, which could lead to DDoS attacks, malicious software installs, user data extraction, etc. And quite possibly the lapse which lead to the last DDoS attack happened because due to the respec program being run last time...yeah that's not unnerving in the least... |

Rachel Challoner wrote:i cant beleave the rage lol im using the time befor the respec to test all the wepons out why dont you all try something new befor they give you your respecs
While that is a good point. It's also important to take into consideration that there were changes to the skill tree which became massive skill point sinks, like once needing lv5 from the basic dropsuits to unlock specialized dropsuits. Also for many Corps having acess to proto gear is a requirement to play in PC. Meaning that with too points sunk into other areas it would be a long time before some players will have all proto items. Then having those items is just a start. Learning how far they can be pushed is only going to come from playing with them.
Besides all that CCP has on more then one occasion told players it would happen in a specific timeframe and it did not, along with no communication as to status, or those summed up by sorry, we don't know and/or cannot tell you. |

Wolfgang Erikson wrote:You will all regret getting your respecs if they come before 1.2
All your SP and then QQ when they release 1.2 and your class is nerfed or another class buffed.
I for one am glad the respecs are delayed. If there are a bunch of changes coming in 1.2 I don't want to be tempted to spend my SP. All of us who had to wait will have the advantage .
I won't be regretting anything. If I get my respec before 1.2, I'm not spending a single point until it is released, so I have a better idea what I'm looking at. |

I resubmitted as well, on top of asking about it in the original ticket. What worries me though is that I've yet to receive any response. |

No idea really. At least when I was asking about it before I'd get responses within a day, even if it was just to tell me, sorry, can't tell you anything. |

I'm beginning to think so, and concerned that if we ever get responses, it'll be after 1.2 is released... |
