I suggest making the bust rifle a five shot burst instead of three, that will make it easier to use and a better mach for other assault rifle..... Kinda like killzone 3. |

60 rounds in the magazine is 12 burst for the burst rifle, that's more than enough to me. |

The idea being that each race will have it's base variant be Assault, (Gallente) Burst (Minmatar), Breach (Caldari) or Tactical (Amarr) and then the variants are a specific race's take on the others using their own tech. So, you'd get an Assault Rail Rifle that attempts to somewhat mimic the behavior of the Gallente Assault Rifle and a Tactical Assault Rifle that attempts to mimic the Amarr Scrambler Rifle and so on.

I don't believe it has any discernible advantage over the TAR or standard AR so it wallows in the market. It definitely needs to be made more competitive. The BR in Halo was quite good and sounded beastly in comparison. |

I used the GK and Allotek for the first half of chrome and ate CoDboi's lunches before the could even get in range to pray and spray. Well, at least before everyone found out LWSSP was so OP. Anyway, it's the TAR that needs to be brought down. Whatever changes they make to it are going to determine the validity of the entire AR line. Since my MD is crap, I'll probably be speccing back into ARs and decide between the GK or the GLU for my everyday use. |

I'm always looking for genuine sacred words of Devs, but alas like my Almighty Creator's, they are near impossible to find.
@OP: The Burst AR is just fine. I would bump up damage by 5 HP for all ARs except the tac actually.
But overall, Burst ARs are fine. You have to use them in the mid-range element. The precision gives you hands down dominance, but if you get too close to a full auto AR, you're gonna get fried. As it should be. :) |
