It's free, it's permanent and it's limitless. That is why I drive it and not an LAV that I have to skill into. Dropsuits aren't the same as they are skill multipliers. If you're good in a militia fit, they you are going to be godly in an advanced or prototype fit. LAVs don't follow that same dynamic because all you can do is drive around in them. Want to shoot while moving? Got to bring a passenger.

In Dust 514 weeks (or even MONTHS) of your time is basically nullified, and you have to spend weeks (or months) before you're back to where you started after CCP fixed THEIR mistake. It's, IMO, one of the fatal errors in the fundamental game design of Dust 514.

I don't see why they should. AV has the advantage in how much SP/ISK investment it takes to pop vehicles vs the SP/ISK investment to go towards that vehicle's survival.

It is, IMO, one of the fatal errors in the fundamental game design of Dust 514 that players are the ones who end up being punished for CCP's poor balancing. +1 Yah, pretty effed up when you think about it. It just seems like sheer laziness on CCPs part.
