SP advantage? WTF does that have to do with anything? STB sits at the top of the leaderboards, clearly they have the SP to back up their mouths. The issue is that they don't have the tactical know how to make it count. They got lucky in the land rush, but over time, EVERYONE who is ANYONE has been slowly chipping away at them and now they blame loses on their B and C teams and lag. I'm sure that no respectable Corp would throw B and C teams at a Corp an alliance like NF.

Perhaps it's time for STB to just pack up their bags and catch the next freighter heading into WH space.

Skill is 5% of what matters in this game. The rest is SP and gear. If you work together as a squad and one team is militia and the other is proto, the proto wins. More damage and tank on the battlefield. Skills do not factor into a number based game.

So what you are saying is that you and your best squad vs them and their best squad using identical militia gear would be a victory on your side?

No, he's saying that he only has 5% of the skill needed to play this game and is blaming is losses on the fact that he lacks the SP required to be effective in Dust, which is just another way of saying he fails and is unable to compete in a competitive environment such as Dust.

That gives a new player like me hope to know that the best team in the game is only 5% better than me sklillwise.

I've been around long enough to see what NF can do. Yeah they have skills, but when you see them on the field, you'll see it's not their gear or SP that wins them matches. They move together like a well choreographed dance troupe. Every movement looks like it has intent and purpose. They don't seem to have any doubt as to what their next objective is. They hit the ground running and they simply don't stop until the end of the match. Even if the match is a lose, where most players just give up, they keep pushing and pushing until the match ends.

They aren't the only corp or alliance that are like that, but they tend to be the most notable because a few of their members chest pound whenever they win matches and many in the community don't care for it.

I never said they were 5% better skill wise, I said Shalac17 only had 5% of the skill needed to compete in Dust and that he is justifying his comments by saying that only 5% of the game is about skills. He lacks that 5%, but blames his lack of SP and proto gear (which he implies is 95% of the ability to win a match) on not being an able and skilled player.

NF has a lot of skill, but players confuse skill and ability with tactical and situational awareness. They are not the same thing and I propose that it's not NF's skills that allow them to win so much, it's their tactical and situational awareness as well as their team play that wins them matches.

I can't tell if you're special Ed or really just this dumb. You just claimed NF had an SP advantage and it would soon run dry with time - so someone brings up STB who has the same 'advantage' (lol) and still got face rolled. If you cannot think outside of your box and look at the replies made for your consideration then don't post.

get a bunch of your NPC buddies together and form a corp. Proceed to spend 80 million on a clone pack, and prove that NF players only think they are good, because they can pub stomp in proto gear. Until then keep your mouth shut because your opinion doesn't matter considering you don't own any land in DUST.

Just thought I'd point out that NF has been winning consistently against other teams that have high SP as well. So I don't see the SP excuse as a valid one anymore.

I recently joined them after having played against many of them in previous games, mainly MAG and I can tell you It's not just SP but I guess you'll have to learn that the hard way.

@Shalac, I've had 6-7 mil SP for every PC match I've been in and I've had no problem against WTF, SI, STB, or Delta Force. I guess that's an unfair comparison since I actually have some skill.
