Hey you, yes you, the idiot that spend all the misdirected ISK they got, the one that whines about OP weapons and protobears that stomp everybody in pub matches.
This is New Eden, it's a harsh, cold place. The same place as EVE, where no one is safe. So instead of all the whining, try to think for yourself. Every mistake can be fatal, every tiny error can mean the end.
The fact that you can only QQ about the mistakes and "errors" and fixes CCP make is just a statement to how unwell you do in this gaming world.
The best EVE-players and also the best Dust-players adapt, adapt or die.
Oh, I got extra ISK? Well, let's just keep spending like I always do, that way nothing can go wrong.
Oh, this weapon is OP? Better use it myself or find nice counter.
Oh, there's this annoying bug? Better find a way around it!
So my dear whiners and newbies to the world of New Eden, please use your brain or otherwise you just deserve to be filtered from the system!

Wow, apparently CCP has the easiest job in the world. Make a game as buggy and unbalanced as you want, and the fanboys will still defend it to their graves.
How about this -- view Dust 514 for what it is: A FPS with RPG elements. When it fails at either of these points, or isn't achieving or exceeding an industry standard for either genre, point it out to CCP so they can look into it and find a solution. Or better yet, provide a solution yourself.

Or learn to live with it. Life isn't easy, so why should a game be easy and perfect? I like the challenge, even the imbalance. And you can call me a fanboy maybe, but I just have my own views about things. Sorry if you guys can fathom things like I do.
The fact that i is a free game makes things even better for me. You know, you can't really complain about free stuff if you ask me.

CCP's working on those normally and as long as I know CCP it'll come eventually.
Also since when are proximity mines OP? Never heard about that... |

It's not to say that the bugs shouldn't be fixed...just that complaining incessantly about them-in all likeliness-won't speed up their fixes.

HTFU is meant for when people whine about things that happen due to carelessness. Can't beat a BS with your cruiser? HTFU! Did your Stabber get popped and you forgot to renew your insurance? HTFU! This game is broken to levels of unplayability =/= HTFU because it's something beyond the player's control. |

Dear OP, allow me to give you a formal rebuttal:
I've been a customer of CCP for on and off 8 years. I've had to HTFU when a threadnaught of QQing cruiser pilots nerfed my BS into a novelty when it was meant to be their effective counter. I learned to adapt over dying when my corp was AWOXed and the Goons overtook my entire sector. I've spent 5 years living under these principles through my avatar in the world of New Eden.
These problems occurring now go beyond the boundaries of risk vs reward limited to world of New Eden. The 4th wall has been long since broken and in the context of these principles that you're blatantly misusing to the level of parody have no meaning when you have to question the stability of Tranquility. Being held accountable for things that are outside our control and being told to HTFU or Adapt-orDie is an insult to the authoritative parameters that these sayings were founded upon. You may simply be trolling, but you're doing anything but being helpful right now. This game has serious problems at its core and cracking jokes is only adding fuel to the fire. |

The OP is right. This is the reason the FPS that is Dust is designed to fail. It's not balanced enough for satisfyingly enough gameplay to keep players over the long haul, especially the 7 years CCP stated it would take to get all SP. |

Never said actually that they should be left alone. Just saying that you have to live with them. CCP knows the error and guys saying how much CCP sucks because they don't fix it aren't helping.

What you call a challenge is what I'd call a "if they don't make the game better I'll just go play something else and give CCP no money and probably so will a lot of other people"
I want to like this game and I kinda do strangely but it needs a whooooooole lot of work before its worth even slapping $5 into and I haven't even hit the 1 million SP mark yet....yet I can still see that
But hey you can enjoy being one of 5 people playing half a game a year down the line while the rest of us move on to something....you know....finished |
