personally I have not been affected by the risk spike. I jumped to 300 mil, then fell back down to what I had before.
With all the ******** butt hurt going around, it probably would have been a better idea to leave us with all that extra risk. Sure, it would have inflated the market. But would could have fixed the issue another way, like doubled the price of everything in the market so we could slowly bleed out all of that extra income. Then reduce the prices when the communities college give savings reached a more "normal" level.
What they did here is they set fire to the economy, and then they threw gasoline on it in the attempt to put it out. Yea, it didn't work. more then half of the community is going through an isk depression because of it, and most of them are going to leave. all of that saving, all of that work was ripped out of the communities hands, and most of them had absolutely no idea what was going on, or why it happened.
If anything, I would consider this a catastrophic event, which mean there needs to be a roll back before any of this ever happened. Yea you'll lose some progress in PC, and probably in a few skills or whatever. But the game's life is at stake here. This needs to be dealt with before the weekend.
Give back the counterfeit isk, or roll back the servers. |

There were better ways to deal with it, yeah. But regardless of the solution implemented, there was always going to be a bunch of people whinging about how unfair everything is. |

I disagree wholeheartedly. Doing what you suggest to the market would be insane. It would cause a river of complaints that makes the illegitimate ISK spenders whine look like a trickle. This was the right way. Those of us with a modicum of intelligence and restraint have had nothing negative happen. This is a good life lesson for the rest. At no extra charge even.

A server rollback at this stage would probably generate ludicrous amounts of QQ, in addition to screwing over newbies. |

I am not suggesting a massive roll back, just one that reverts back to the point of just before the isk inflation happened.
Yea yea, its a good life lesson, but this is a game. A game that needs a community to survive. People are going to leave. Characters that had millions of so will eventually become useless because they have no isk to support themselves. Those with less so will be frozen because they won't be able to buy anything to upgrade their characters.

While you have a good point, I think most of the people that are going to leave over this are silly little newb kids who would have left the minute Battlefield 4 and CoD whatever are released. I will miss the slight inflation to my anemic KDR that they brought, but not much else. |

And I bet for a fact if you wrote a check for $1,000 instead of $100, you would be taking that money back! There wouldn't be any, "oh well... my bad. I messed up. I'll take the loss." NO. you would OMVAG@G@ GIMME MY MOTHER KITTEN MONEY OR I"LL BREAK YOUR KNEECAPS.

Right now, just the dumbasses who spent ISK they didn't earn got punished. This is fine. Consequences and all. |

Thats actually a big problem

Source please. And, no, it isn't a big problem. Anyone who is now negative can petition CCP to get their ISK back as well as have their purchased assets reclaimed.
Oh, and those who would be affected by a rollback would be 100%. |

DID SOMEONE MENTIONED YOU CAN PETITION CCP TO GET YOUR ISK BACK? why are they not sending an IN GAME MAIL to all negative ISK players explaining them they can "sell back assets" by emailing [email protected] from their main email account. |
