You don't get it? It's so your corp doesn't go away. I would imagine they don't let another person start up a corp name and ticket that has already died, and the last person given up CEO. |

The fact that anyone can become a CEO, without need of any Corp Skills, induced me to think that I could have kept my Corp anyway but I would have had to Respec into Corporation Skills if I wanted to create new ones and expeand them, that's all. |

The skill level determines the number of people allowed in the corp. Lets say you had 1000 and they respecced your corp skills. 990 people will be disoriented, pissed, and joining other corps left and right out of spite. |

I thought that once a Corp had reached a level, it stays there, even if you give it to a player that hasn't any skills into Corporation. It's just that this player won't be able to expand it, unless he spec into Corp Skills and gets to the desired level. |

I specifically asked for my corp skills to be refunded when I sent my petition. I explained that I made an EVE account more or less for this purpose. Come respec, Corp still at level 3. I wrote again and asked what was up, and I got a reply saying that this part of the skill tree wasn't flagged to be part of the refund and that it was tough luck (excpt it was put in a much more polite manner of course).
I don't mind either, it's only about 50K SP or something, but I'm O.C.D and I hate having skills trained that I don't need. Dissapointing but oh well. |

If they respec'd corp skills I don't believe the corp would explode or anything. I mean a CEO can make anyone else CEO even if they don't have any corp skills and nothing would happen, everyone would stay in the corp. I always thought their reasoning was if they respec'd corp skills then everyone would still be in your corp and you'd have 0 skills invested in corp management (and would have no incentive to put them back). Free corp. |

You dont get to keep the Skills effect and get the SP back. |

GM response about corp management: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=82546&p=4

When the ability to create a corporation was first made, I didn't know then how it worked and kept buying corporation skill trying to get it too work. While we try not to meddle with corp skills in order to ensure your corp remains intact. in eve, if you dont have adequate corp management as CEO, nothing bad happens aside from error message saying you cant accept new applications without appropriate skills.
as others have stated, exploits are possible, but then again people make CEO alts for a reason. if you arent an active CEO, i see no reason to NOT respec those points... and those attempting to exploit not having corp skills will flounder eventually... people will leave and they will not be able to bolster their forces until they grind out the SP for corp management again... all they are doing is playing on borrowed time trying to exploit in this fashion, just like people who over spent the ISK from yesterday... which i still have after a hotfix yesterday and downtime report stating it was now fixed...
as for why it silly that you are not allowed to respec corp management skills, there are cases where people were CEOs then merged into another corp and become regular members(possibly directors) but they are not CEO anymore, and now have 'wasted' SP after not only one but now TWO respecs. |

gave you the middle finger eh? not terribly surprising. if that petitions still open, i would refrence them back to GM Graves comment and see what gets done. worst thing that can happen is they say no again and you continue as you are. |
