I just looked at the stats and the Minmatar has inherent 1hp/s armor rep. Is this a mistake? Surely the Gallente of all four would have the inherent armor rep? |

I thought all logis were supposed to have 1hp by default, but I look at the stats and they don't, including minmitar logi. But minmitar basic, militia, and assault do. |

Logi's have 1Hp/s per level of the logi suit skill. So at level V they have 5. But the assault and basic don't supposed to have that as far as I know, and yet the Minmatar version of those do. |

I noticed this too. Other people misunderstood what I was talking about, but I've double checked it.
Cat, do you have minmatar dropsuits trained? (specifically minnie logi?) I do and I see the same 1hp armor rep on my minmatar basic assault suits- I'm wondering if anyone who hasnt specced into minnie logi sees the same 1hp rep.
Do the other racial basic assault suits have a comprable 'bonus' ? |

Minmatar Assault here; my armor slowly regenerates. It's a pretty minor bonus, but with my minimal armor tank I can be back to full armor in 2-3 minutes. (It basically reduces my reliance on logis or healing nanohives to get my teeny armor buffer back.)
I don't think it would be much use to armor tanked suits; it's not nearly enough to fill in for a proper rep module. |

(Or 6.25hp/s if you have the skill fully trained) I would love to have it on my Gallnete suit, would cut my 82 seconds wait into 70 seconds. |

I hope this isnt a mistake. It was the thing that put me over the edge on Minmatar Assault.
It makes sense for a play style though. Quick moving, hit and run etc. The low armor combined with the 1hp/s means that it can get out of danger and get back up to full strength to get back to the fight.
Lets face it, Minmatar has the lowest survivability, so it needs a small perk. It honestly wouldnt help armor tankers much since its so slow. But it does help the minmatar simply by getting its bars full to make it look scarier to the enemy. |

Gallente regenerate. Amarr are eHP monsters. Caldari are a good medium.
At least that's how it is in EVE. |

Looking at the change notes I think it is a Minnie logi bonus only, wheareas the Assault variant gains a shield recharge bonus. Mus be a bug. |

The Minmatar Assault is supposed to have a 1 hp/s built in.
I don't know if the Medium Frame is supposed to though.
Edit: It's not a suit bonus or anything, it's just a built in 1 hp/s. |

It's essentially a versatility bonus. Minmatar Assaults only get two low slots and lose their speed advantage when fitting armor plates. A repair module would be taking up valuable real estate on a suit that, under ideal circumstances, shouldn't be taking armor damage at all.
Tossing the passive bonus onto an armor focused suit would have the same result as giving it a repair efficacy bonus, as I highly doubt anyone would skip the modules and rely on the passive alone. |

Mini Med frame is basically assault without the racial and Dropsuit bonus. The 1hp Armour regen is why I went with this suit too. Still has v limited armour tanking options with only 2 low slots. |

Basically it gets a free Basic Armor Rep, which is pretty nice cause it doesnt have the slots to realistically put an armor rep. Most folks will still likely pick Amarr for its base stats, Caldari for shield tanking or Gallante for its awsome light weapon fitting bonus and good mix of slots.
Minmatar is the only assault with one side only having 2 slots, so the free base armor rep helps balance it. As dumb as it is, the reason it swayed me was cause I wanted to make sure my assault suit had some sort of armor rep (even just basic) and without the passive, there is no way Im using half my high slots on 6 hp/s (need them kincat mods!) |
