Nailed 2 so far today before the hotfix I will say in current standard gear or militia gear they're certainly not soloable the ones I slew today I had help with.

I could care less about the LAV spam that is not really a problem as they are easily dispatched. but free anything is counter to the whole rISK vs. reward game.

Good Luck merc, you're going to need it." Ta-da, problem solved, new players are able to survive in Academy mode, and are given a bonus gift for graduating. It also means they have 25 "Free" LAVs available and will have to purchase more.

People defended them like people are defending the free LAVS today. Thankfully, they were removed because many of the matches turned into dropship squish and tower missile spam. Swarms, on the other hand... Skill into Swarm Launchers or Forge Guns and watch them melt. Free or not, LAVs are easy targets even for the free Swarm fitting - IF you back it with the right passives. If the enemy has tanks, bring a real AV fitting, or call in AV guys as backup. For LAVs, running a free Swarm loadout with a 3-shot clip and a couple of reloads can wipe out the spam in no time, especially if you trained Proficiency for the damage boost. Adding a Nanohive makes it even better.
