I can't talk much about those logi's but the minmatar logi gets a 5% increase to hack speed. This comes in handy alot. |

My thoughts?
Are you going to use one of these to logi with, or looking for a huge HP buffer assault? |

im more of a aggressive defender then an all out attacker. tactics beat all out warfare anyday. |

I was referring to equipment slots. Below ill show you why 4 might be better.
Typical 3 equipment slots are filled with.
A). Nanohive Armor Repairer Nanite injector
B). Drop Uplink Armor repairer Nanite Injector
With 4 you can do: Nano Hive , Armor Repairer , Nanite Injector and then remote explosives/armor repping nanohive/drop uplink/second repairer ect.
Edit: The hacking bonus on minnie isn't so bad/maybe bad. When you reach an objective lets be honest your mainly a logi your team mates are likely better killers then you. So you hack it while they cover you. The bad thing about this is maybe you have someone who needs to be repped and you could use the time defending the objective to rep people. The minnie suit is pretty good. Its versatile with 4 highs and 4 lows. Its high speed. It has 4 equipment slots. Downside is you will probably need a shield recharger so you have 3 shield extenders compared to the caldari 4 or 5.
Second Edit: Logis are slow and the crazy thing is they almost need to be faster to keep up with people. They have to rep person II then catch up to person I who went a head. This is why armor tank logis aren't the best. They are good for sitting on objective though. If you go gallente logi make sure one low has a sprint mod. |

anything is possible with respec.. but i dont know i mainly just want to be a logi for the fact that not to many people are dedicated logis that and the fact that i can kill really good and im usually behind my team i can be more then just a defensive killer i can be that and suport ammo explosives needle and still be an effective soldier as far as killing. so to me it seems like the best suit to go for but like i said who knows man i just want to see what people think of the suits. |

I run around in my lav with one other person and we hack objectives before they can do anything about it. |

@Anon
If I remember correctly. Caldari logi has 5 highs ( shield extenders ect. ) and 4 lows ( shield regulators ect). The gallente logi has 3 highs and 5 lows. Also i edited one of my posts with logi related info.
P.S. Here is a good logi guide. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=79304&find=unread
Here is some info about the Amarr logi if your interested. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=79187&find=unread |

Armor vs shields has never changed. The differences
Armor: Higher eHP, but lower regen. Good for team play, because armor can be repaired quickly Since armor mods are low slots, you can put damage mods in high slots Slower the more aHP you have Less damage from lasers, no damage from flux, more damage from explosives
Shields: Lower eHP, faster regen. However, you won't be able to last in the long run because once your armor is gone, it's gone Shields have both high and low modules, so you can fully deck yourself out for shield tanking Speed doesn't change with sHP More damage from lasers, tons of damage from flux, less damage from explosives. |

Gallente are only good at proto level, but can equip higher meta level equipment much easier and that 4th slot is very useful. Use this if you're actually looking to be a logistics that's support first, combat second.
Caldari is all around good a at all suit tiers. The racial bonus makes it the tankiest of all the Logis, but SR and flux grenades make them cry. Only 3 equipment slots, so you have to make them count. Better for a combat first, support second mindset. Just be careful if choosing this one. It might get an unneeded nerf if CCP listens to Iron Wolf Saber's QQing. |

I'm currently running Adv Caldari but will probably swap to Gallente when the respecs hits. I expect the Caldari to be nerfed because of QQ'ing whiners who want easy kills yet refuse to use the tools available to make the Caldari an easy kill.
Caldari is good for creating a faster, more combat oriented logi with good survivability. Gallente can have similar EHP, but they trade speed for it, and pick up an extra equip slot. Personally I think that extra equipment can be invaluable in PC/competitive play.
So, extra equipment and a foolish nerf (probably) would lead me to recommend Gallente. |

Yeah its still viable, you can stack 3 reppers and get back 20 hp per sec. Throw in a regulator and you got a solid fit IMO. |

so what if they never nerf the caldary and i spec into the gallente then i will regret it forever :( at the end i guess the choice is mine but how much can they actually nerf i mean its not like u can use 2 guns on it that right there makes it that much more pleaseable to the enemy to kill you. if you cnt kill a man when he is reloading then damn back to call of duty some pll should go. but i dont know i guess ill do some research and decide wayy after my respec maybe ill just build a ton of sp before i actually put it to use thanks alot for the feedback fellas its much appreciated and thank you for not trolling. |

I need 4 equipment slots, it just feels right. Plus the 25% reduction of equipment CPU/PG means I can carry all proto equipment. Gallente for me.
omega 015 wrote:I can't talk much about those logi's but the minmatar logi gets a 5% increase to hack speed. This comes in handy alot. How much does the Complex Codebreaker do? If 25%, then why not just slap one on one of the Gallente Logi's 5 low slots, and the 25% reduction to equipment CPU/PG will more than make up for the cost of the codebreaker.

My suggestion for a faster gallente logi is three shield extenders with three basic armor plates and complex report with a regulator. drop the regulator for a Sprint mod if needed. I think it unlikely you can primarily shield tank with three highs on a logi. You can however do a dual tank that's light on armor. |
