DUST Search - With only 3-4 days left to request a respec, I NEED TO KNOW CCP...

I see no problem here, you either want the basic proto suit, or you don't. If you don't want it, then file for a respec. Also they never said "Respec you 1 more time and then that is it", this is not a personal offer. This will be that last respec, ever, regardless of whether you actually petitioned for one or not. If you don't get it now, then you can't get one in the future.

It unlocks something, so what happens to the people who actually wanted to have those proto suits (I'm sure there are vehicle drivers that want something to protect them when they aren't in a vehicle, and there's others who just want them)? The skills made useless after a certain level (I believe Dropsuit Command and Vehicle Command are two, though I'm not sure if Vehicle Command was always like that or not) should have been reduced to lv3 and SP refunded.

I have the same problem with suits, thats why I asked for a respec. I don't wanna redo my whole class, I just wanna put my skill points to better use.

Explosives unlocks Demolitions and Grenadier and reduces CPU costs of both. Demolitions then unlocks Remote Explosives and Proximity Mines when leveled and Grenadier unlocks Locus, Flux, and AV grenades. You probably could have just scrolled over to the next portion of that section of the skill tree.

Actually, you're wrong. Currently the explosives skill does NOT give you a 3% CPU usage reduction. It's bugged and does nothing. Train level 1 and leave it alone until it gets fixed.

This combined with the fact that they are offering the respec kinda makes it pointless to move the skills back to 3 when they are unsure if everyone wants to trade it in. i have applied for the respec for this reason alone not a big deal. And about the explosive skill yeah it sounds like it is bugged which does sucks however yet again at this point it hasn't hurt you that bad(we have that respec thing going on). Now if this happens without a respec option available then yes let please make a forum post with everyone posting their wasted skill points in the skill. This would show ccp in a constructive way how many people are being affected by it.

(if you guys want a list of skill descriptions that have been messed up in Uprising I can list them, but I`m probably not aware of all of them).
