I'm like the only scout I play with (for obvious reasons (scouts are gimp))
Are there any other scouts out there? Is there a channel for scouts?
I want a 6 man blitzkrieg of speed and mobility. The Poor red dots won't know where to look because we will be EVERYWHERE! |

You're in a corp already. Hmm, I hope we won't be rivals, but you can squad up with me to snipe in the shadows if you're up for it. We have some snipers in the corp that scout and mow down enemies from high. |

I was wanting to make a scout only squad as well but was holding off from saying anything because I'm still not sure if I'm going to stick with it after the respec or give in and go logi. |

But then you wouldn't really need the Gallente Scout, the Gallente Light would do fine. In fact you might as well go Minmatar Light since the 2 kinetic catalyzers would make you even faster and you could get near the equivalence of the enhanced plate with one complex shield, or 2 for good measure.
I'm thinking of respecing into a Gallente Scout and taking advantage of the racial bonus, but it takes a good amount of stacking to get that stat anywhere good. 2 Complex range amplifiers gets you 47 meters, 3 would get 68, and 4 would get 99 meters. A bit trickier to get good hitpoints with this approach. Honestly I think the base scan range is far too low so it takes way too many complex range amplifiers before you start getting good range. |

Radar has been a pain in the arse for my peoples to kill. But he also had the gall to send me mail asking if I needed any advice on Knifing. Punk, I was knifing before you could even hold a knife, much less use one!

I think it would be awesome. I only die because I rush into groups of red dots and my blue dots don't push aggressively enough to take advantage of the mass confusion I cause. 6 of us sprinting into their blob from all sides would be pure awesome, resulting in quick ambushes.  |

P.S. you are not a ninja if you don't use knives, you are a scout with a weapon.
Knives have saved this game for me, more fun and challenging than using the vanilla AR class that this game has devolved into. |

To others it probably looks like you're a tool that doesn't know how to play, when really you just got surrounded, cut-off, or maybe just had a brain fart.... and maybe that death that made you look like a doofus was the one that broke your 5/0 streak that made all your downed foes think you were a bad-ass.

If you're not running at least the ADV suit, run a medium frame std until you can get the adv suit.
Speed is your friend. Don't try to win 1v1 fights. Shoot people in the back.
I stopped using MD when I saw how much they nerfed them. With the equipment slot nerf to scout suits, MD are just not usable in PC by scouts I don't think (not to mention how much scouts die in PC)

On my proto gallente light,
I run 3 complex speed, 1 complex stamina. And im not quite sure what my low is.
2 Proto Flay lock, 1 grenande of whatever I need (Different suits) and 1 equipment (ranging from uplinks to scanners to remote explosives).

I have met another scout that seems to have the same build as me, it made for quite a dance. Its also quite funny to be bunny hoping in the middle of a squad, drop a remote explosive and run away and detonate. |

Squading with multiple scouts is doing it wrong. You need to be solo and flanking in order to be effective, and having more than one is just one more chance to be popped onto radar.
Now if you were running logis with shotguns, speed boosters, and shield extenders then by all means group up and run straight at the enemy. The extra Health is enough to be over aggressive and still effective. |

I don't run the fastest, nor do I perform the most graceful dance with shotgun or knives. I am not a sniper extrodinare nor am I an intel gatherer supreme..... What am I (aside from a doofus)?
I am merely a humble scout, decent at most scouting activities with a bias towards hacking objectives, dropping uplinks, or just good old fashioned hunting down folks in hard to reach places.

Agree. At the most two team scout are ok. But not more then two. But having a squad for communication purposes on a match, works so amazing ******* cool when it works.

I agree with this. Referring to folks that advise that scouts squadding up doesn't make much sense..... Since when is communication a bad thing? When did the assumption get made that having a full squad of 6 scouts meant that the only strategy was to all run together?
A squad of six scouts on mikes can hack most objectives and have them locked down before the other team knows WTF is up..... |
