Sick of some idiot hopping in my tank and shooting the turret for the entire game at the MCC when it doesn't do any damage/doesn't even reach it. So I tried driving to the back of the map in a corner facing a mountain and he sat there FOR THE ENTIRE GAME SHOOTING THE MOUNTAIN. Also you can't recall vehicles while someone is in them.
That last part annoys me the most. Your tank is on fire and the idiot will just sit in there until it blows up and you can't do anything about it. You should be able to recall a vehicle with someone in it and when you recall it, they should A: Be automatically kicked out of the vehicle, or B: Flown deep into the redzone and die. |

You should not be able to recall burning vehicles.
But the rest I agree with. There needs to be a way to prevent special eds from basically AFK farming in my turrets. |

I've thrown AV nades at burning reddot HAVs and I know 100% that it hit. However, the HAV just disappeared, no explosion, no points payout, just disappeared.
I assumed they recalled it like a *****. |

Yeah you can't recall burning vehicles, most pilots will just carry a rep tool in their equipment slot if they can't fit a repper on their vehicle. |

I made an alt to have a go with HAV's and in one game I had a bluedot sat in one of the small turrets firing at the MCC when I told him it has no effect on the MCC he told me to "STFU noob it does." he then proceeded to keep calling me a noob and demanding I give him my HAV so he could "shoot down that battleship." because apparently thats what HAV's do in this game I must have missed this memo.

It doesn't even have the range to reach the MCC in the first place....

Ah he had a plan to counteract the lack of range if I had gave him my tank his plan of action was to drive directly below the enemy MCC and fire directly up into the hole people jump out of. It was at about this point I was starting to get tempted to make a oneway trip over the redline but morbid curiosity stopped me and made me unmute the guy. |

When in a railgun tank, I used to drive to the red zone of the red line, watch the timer count down to like 5 seconds and then go clear.
Repeat until they get the hint.
Sometimes they don't.
I usually nickname my tank the 'Short Bus' when that happens.
Edit: I've seriously considered just letting the tank blow up, just to get rid of the cancer. It would in many ways be worth it. |

And I wonder if you can still damage people with splash damage through that barrier. |

I generally just drive around where they can see the enemy but not reach them effectively with the turret. If I am not blown up then they usually get frustrated and chase after the reds. At this point they usually get run over by a LAV :-). |

A good point but say if there's no one on, or you just want to play a few quick solo games or were testing things like I was. Or you call in your HAV and get your team ready to jump in and find about 9 bluedots waiting for it to land in attempt to steal it or get first dibs on a turret.
Fair enough not being able to just boot people to give a mate the gunner spot next time your guy should be quicker, but the point is bluedots like nice safe places to hide and sitting in the gunner seat of a HAV is a good spot, but its annoying when you cant recall a vehicle because a womble is trying to blow up the MCC or level a mountain. |

Vehicles should be configurable in system options menu.
That is, you should be able to enable/disable a few things: set drivers to "YOU ONLY, SQUAD, TEAM", set passengers to "NONE, SQUAD, TEAM."

No, the rich interplay of diverse people with unique goals is what makes DUST 514 the most intriguing FPS that has ever existed. To try and prevent people from behaving in the way they currently feel like they must is a social damper that only corrodes the palette of iridescent diversity.
No, wait. I take that back. Ejector seats would be the hoot. |

I want ejector seats. Roll under hovering dropship, eject blueberry who collides with dropship. Dropship blows up and blueberry looses half his shields.
CCP please show some love for tanks but for the love of *** please buff our dropship bros who have been hammered into the dirt. It's gonna be them who will be flying the fighter jets, assault landers, and delivering our tanks when you get around to introducing these vehicles, if any are left by then. |

And to this all I can say is I hope CCP gives all vehicles ejector seats, and locks vehicles until the owner gets in. |

It is particularly annoying when I call in a Missile Tank to kill enemy installations and then want to switch to my Blaster Tank to be more effective against infantry but I cannot because there is someone sitting in my Tank. Or one of them stealing my Squad Mate's place when he jumped out to call in an Orbital. |

You should petition CCP for a module that restricts passengers to squadmates. RFID or something catchy like that. that would allow lone wolfs to pick up gunners if they wanbted. |
