If you stand still for 60 secs, you now take dmg from team mates as well as enemies.
Or make suits "Overheat" and start taking dmg.
This will only kick in if you stay perfectly still and do absolutely nothing.
Personally, I don't care if people idle in pubs. I just felt like posting my idea. |

Its an idea but id find it tad annoying if im hiding in a corner in my scout suit waiting fora target to try and take my point Same goes for snipers.
Also if i was to avoid that id simply get a elastic band and tie it around my aiming stick so i just keep spinning |

As for the rubberband, sad but also true. XD

It's a game that bad that CCP have to reward people not to play it in the hope they may play it.
And then may spend money on it.
I just don't think that many fanboy tragics are born every year to be honest. |

Personally, I don't care if people idle in pubs. I just felt like posting my idea. This kind of punishment will hurt more the whole team than "the afker". If she/he dies, clone reserves fall down. And there is less for rest of team left. This will rise the chance of defeat by cloning out your team.
The better would be an introduction of standings. You could "mark" an afker for "later reference". |

If person is in the MCC or in the red zone (or optionally anywhere) have the suit detect an apparent defective clone and self-destruct after some period of time (ejecting the player from the team).
Yes, you could rubber band your controller but the pain in the arse factor would greatly reduce the use of the tactic.
And, lore wise, a defective clone/suit interface (or a clone dying on it's own for some reason) is a security risk. Having someone hack into your suit (an interest option on an AFK player) would reveal the locations of team members and so on... and perhaps offer a hack bonus to the enemy. Can't have that happening... blow the suit if it's not in use.
Yeah, it burns a clone... but I'm much less worried about that than the crappy players going 0/10. |

Removing MCC will do nothing, AFKers will just find a different spot to AFK, as I said in the other thread, the MCC/ redline aren't the problems, Plus as someone else noted, "punishment for not moving" could be somewhat more harmful to actual players than AFKers which can easily bypass this. |

Come on they just have to put a timer on the time you can stay in the MCC. Whenever you leave the MCC you can be killed. And there is already implemented a "standby" kick or what you want to call it. If you stand still for to long it'll kick you (i'm petty sure there is haven't tested though ) You can also go to far and set a timer on how long you can stay in your own red zone but come on peopel will always find a way to bend the rules. At some point we're going to ruin the fun of the game because we can't places tha would safe us or the game forces us to something we actually don't like to but we have to otherwise we'll get kicked. |

Just make the entire bottom of the MCC a shield. If you stand on it for too long, you will be dropped through the shield. There would still be a space in the middle to jump sooner than that. Problem solved

New game mode called afk. You choose it when you want to farm. Your account locks for 15 minutes, and you get some ISK and sp. You're not ruining a real match and you get paid. |

AFK solution: Light on Dropsuit goes off after 90 seconds of non-movement. This player can now be killed by anyone, allie or enemy. Upon allie kill, the killer will gain 50 WP, and the team will gain +1 Clone. Solved. |
