Those of us with a majority of our SP tied up in vehicles are adapting in the New Eden way so often preached here on the forums.
We are using our sizable investment in Vehicle Upgrades (4.5m in my case) to build super LAVs that can both shoot you and turn you into road kill.
So we see dozens of threads congratulating us on our evolutionary strength!
No, not really. Those are all whining about how we aren't playing the game they way that they want us to play it. They are used to the vulnerability if the free LAVs and either can't or don't want to adapt themselves. It seems that adaptation is meant for the other guy.
Well, in a week or two a lot of us will get our respec and become part of the AR 514 crowd, so you can all calm down. |

Yes, it's rare, but possible. It's really interesting when it's a sniper. You get sniped out of the driver's seat, you owe that sniper money. My joke has failed and I must now commit seppuku. (It's easier to just run people over than to convince someone to sit in the turret, as they might as well have a big glowing target on their noggins.)
As a driver I find a turret gunner to be a huge distraction who blocks my view and gives away my position. |
