Also, the TAR is painfully easy to use. Point, pull the trigger. That's pretty much the whole story, right? The problem with the TAR is it's DPS at range. Simple as that. If it was actually difficult to use, that'd be one thing, but it isn't, thus, the ROF combined with the range combined with the ease of use makes it OP. Personally, I think it's even be fine if it had it's ranged DPS if it had some massive short range nerf like the LR, but it doesn't. It's too good at all ranges, that makes it the universally good weapon, the one weapon to rule them all, and by definition an easy weapon. TBH, all ARs are pretty easy though. Thank god, someone with at least half a story to support his accusations, you're mistaking a strong weapon, for an overpowered one, point and pull the trigger, yeah maybe but with a single shot weapon against an auto, you're not going to get very far... wanna talk over powered, lets talk Forge Guns, Nova Knives, Flaylocks...

A. Everything is OP when you are camping a drop uplink with it. B. People with crazy shield tanks going on can take three direct hits with an advanced Flaylock without dying, and other reds have to be practically touching them in order to feel the splash damage. (2.5 meters is the most splash you can ever get.) C. Firing anything with high damage into a crowd will net some kills or at least a bunch of assists. The problem is that the Tac keeps doing every other gun's specific job better than they can. And people are going to continue to camp, fire into crowds and chuck flux grenades to ruin shields. NERF EVERYTHING. No, this is a war game, you are going to die, regardless, I personally think they should just change the name of TAR to something completely random one day and see if people still moan about it, or if it's just sheep mentality between the people that take themselves far too seriously.

The reason people whine is because the TAC is so versatile compared to every other gun in the game. Every other gun has major drawbacks (range, overheating, damage, etc.), yet the TAC is good at everything. No other gun even comes close in terms of versatility....and that's not right! Specifically glasgow(earlier, border clan) how is it idiotic to wish for guns to be balanced? how is it idiotic to wish for the gun that has virtually no drawback(smaller clip, big whoop) to have a drawback, or at least some kind of balancing factor? every other gun has drawbacks, and strengths, the TAR has ONLY strengths. Glasgow born and bred, roughest place in Scotland, wahey... it's not so much about the TAR, it's more the fact, if they nerf the TAR, all the forum goons will move on to Scrambler Rifles, so they'll nerf the scrambler rifles, til eventually we're back to an unbalanced game again, there are ALWAYS going to be weapons that turn the tide of a firefight, that's how these games work. It's not overpowered, not at all, it's just a good weapon, with strengths, it's weakness is it's utterly terrible against fast moving targets/CQC, it's good at long range, yeah, it should be it's a TACTICAL RIFLE. Smaller clip, I don't mind, when it comes to dealing with singleshot weapons in other games you can expect 15 rounds, tops EG Lockdown in Crysis, M14 in CoD, but not nerfing the range, or the damage, that would make the gun obsolete all together, and you guys are whining about how people ONLY choose the TAR? You all know you want a damage nerf, so don't even bother being a ** about LOL U SED NOT TO NERF BUT NOW U SAY NERF. Some people have modded controllers, or mapped the fire button to their mousewheel, yes. the RoF + the damage +the range is the ENTIRE reason the weapon is overpowered, it outranges everything that's not a sniper rifle, or forge gun, or installation and does comparable damage to turrets mounted on cars, at a faster fire rate than the standard AR. You yourself even pointed out that the ONE DRAWBACK this gun has is not any kind of drawback, so, what is it's weakness to balance out being the outright strongest option in the game? and yes, it does need a nerf. if more than 2/3 of people are using a single weapon type and variant, it means that nothing else is comparable, which means that weapon is overpowered. ergo, that ONE weapon needs to be nerfed. And how many people have modded controllers, or play the game with a mouse and keyboard? That's a whole different ball game, it's a very small percentage. Never once did I state the gun had no drawbacks, and I rarely see TAC rifles in either Pub games or Corp matches, I'm not even joking, or being obtuse right now, I see them once in a blue moon.
