If I recall correctly, didn't it once fire tons of those yellow bolts of energy? Now it only connects with two, which, tbh, makes it have a very disjointed and poorly executed look. I think it would make the weapon more easily recognizable in the heat of battle.
Here's what I mean.

Yes I do think we have bigger problems than this but I liked the original black smoke look more than any other. |

Yeah, compared to any other game that uses a similar ability/effect, it looks ugly and is badly animated, while also gives no good gameplay feedback. CCP should recheck TF2 and check what makes using the MediGun so satisfying and how it impacts gameplay. The Dust repair tool feels bad, because the effect animation is bad, the particle/texture animation does not give any good feedback and even the sound is lacking. The worst part is the mechanical aiming to get the effect running, which is very unresponsive and hard to target. |

Hi guys,
Thank for the feedback We have noticed that this effect has many problems, the texture and animation has been polished in our recent dev builds, and it's looking very different and I hope you will like it. Hopefully it will be released to the client soon. |

Hey CCP Bin, thanks for answering this topic so quick, but these quick replies really make me wonder about other issues like the nanite injector problem...
Does CCP only give quick answers on problems that theyare already aware of/can fix? or Do we just need to post a thread about Nanite Injectors in 'General Discussions' instead of the 'Technical Support/Bugs'? I'm kind of worried.
With that being said, I just wanted to add this to the topic: my repairstream seems to just disapear on several occasions, anyone else have this problem? |

Use forum search and type "nanite injectors" and check DEV box... |

That thread (in GD) was made after the initial thread (in TS/Bugs). I replied in that thread with a question a few post below that of the DEV...still unanswered, but thanks for pointing it out anyway. The responses in the existing NI-threads start to sound like they don't know how they can fix it. If you look at CCP Bin's post here he stated that they solved these problems in their dev build. Point me to a DEV post were they state that NI are fixed in their dev build and I'm happy.

-Server latency and hit detection -Matchmaking. -Tutorials for new players. -Invisible walls and pop ins. -Incentive for FW and EVE interaction with PC.
I'd rather the repair tool look like crap until the rest of the game looks like a dream. |

He can't fix your latency, matchmaking, tutorials, invisible walls or FW.
For future:
CCP LaFerrari is your tech latency guy CCP Nullarbor/Foxfour are matchmaking Invisible walls -> Map feedback section and tell them where you found them FW -> Null/FF again |

+1
I was thinking this the other day whilst getting caught on every rock on Manus Park. I realise people are employed with certain roles but surely, for the time being, more staff should be devoted to fixing the core problems of playability rather than what it looks like? |

Between the nanite injector issues and the "lock on" sluggishness of the repair tool... I practically only use nanohives now . |

Other than using them as very expensive play testers? No, they can't. Game development is difficult work with extremely specialized roles. Moving someone from one task to another would be like putting you in charge of fixing network latency.
