I would like to know how tankers are fitting themselves: Modules, Skills, Tank Type, and the situations you use your tanks in. Tanks have received a string of nerfs recently and I am curious if this has affected the power dynamic between shield and armor. In closed beta the armor tanks were something to be feared, but a good shield tank could still kill one. Tank vs Tank aside... how have you adapted your fits for AV fire?
I encourage everyone to keep things civil and in context. This is not a thread to say anything is OP or UP. This thread is to share universal strategies used to handle AV in the current build and tank on tank warfare. Your tank fits followed by your mindset on their use would be greatly appreciated. I thank everyone in advance for their contributions! |

Full Metal Kitten wrote:My favorite tank in this build is the Ishukone Watch Saga. Though, when I do serious tankin' I call in my Methana. I didn't bother with the scout or logi tanks.
While I was mainly referring to HAVs I recognize the validity of LAVs being able to tank. Would you mind sharing your thought process when fitting them and how you put them to use? While this information might become outdated with the rework surely to come, I would like to compile a spreadsheet of vehicles in the current build. I wish to primarily focus on the HAVs though. |

While I somewhat agree, the recall feature allows one to switch to an appropriate fit to respond. So, what's to stop me from recalling a blaster tank and call in a railgun myself? Or is it that in the current build tank survivability has dropped to the point where a rail tank can pop you before you can respond? |

Just an Enforcer tank drivers input..... so in other word your calling ur self a noob. no good tank driver uses an enforcer. i would know i have one. all the cool tank drivers use logi lavs. lol I eat your logi lavs for breakfast try rolling past me I can understand your lack of trust in my old build tanking but I am sticking through the fight thick and thin. And for no good ways to fit a tank if you have more than 8 million skill points, 2/3s of a brain and 10 minutes to do some simple math and try things out you could have a tank that goes 15:0 regularly like mine. Noob^ While I appreciate different views and styles of play, please refrain from name calling and/or single word responses. We also seem to be straying from the topic at hand. The purpose of this topic is to gather statistics on the performance of the vehicles in the current build. My interest being mostly directed at HAVs, as I can't seem to get how they are viable. So, if there are any serious HAV users left... I would like to hear their take on the current build.
Your views on LAV strategies and performance are still welcome, but please be constructive. I need stats, fits, and the state of mind in which you use them. |
