Lol, I didn't make this thread to rage about it, just remarking on how incredibly hilarious it is to see 3-4 lavs taking laps around null cannons and smacking into people.
In seriousness though this cannot continue to be a part of the combat, people ramming you to death cause they can't aim 
While carrying AVs is a quick solution it usually takes more than one if not a militia, and even then I rather carry flux grenades so I can destroy enemy team support equips and shields(and btw destroying enemy equipment really needs to give WP. I spend so much time hunting down nanohives) |

The only people who do this are noobs and tankers who can't tank anymore BC they were needed into the ground. Buff tanks and I'll stop running you over. |

Cause it's fun. Much more fun that getting constantly killed from way outside my weapon range by a TAC AR.
The only thing that beats a TAC AR on open ground is an LAV. And people have figured this out.
The response to all the TAC threads are "it's fine, get over it"...
Conversely, I also dumped SP into an AV setup. It's just as fun to blow up the taxis as it is to run in them. I sometimes run my AV setup *while* I'm in my LAV, so I can jump out and pop other taxis AND run people over. Twice the fun! |

Because like seeing smug turn to firey death.
Swarm launchers are actually a better way to have low risk kill farmage, in my opinion. Makes you sniper bait though. |

I don't understand the complaint, pop a few taxis in the face and they'll stop bringing them in. Keep getting run over? Get into cover!
There is lots of open space out there, if you're wandering aimlessly about in the open you will be shot or run over, either way expect to die.
Use cover and vehicles to cover open ground. |

The forum QQ is not matching up with in game, people have no idea.The l33t players are coming up with some op builds, / cough - SG/sprinter. I would rather deal with Murder taxi's and Logibro/tac noobs

Not sure why yesterday, but I stopped a LAV while in my heavy suit, just like hulk, with the rear of the LAV going in the air.
He backed off to try again, I threw my packed AV and they died, the 3 of them.
Probably a glitch saved me this time, but men it was satisfying.
When I see alot of troll going around in LAV, I find a high spot with my forge gun, lot of fun. Like that game on tuesday, where a few imps were trolling hard, they did hate a few AV grenades lol. |

You doodn't now us LAV peoples very well. Half the time, if not more, those that are trolling around in the starter LAV are also in starter fits because they know it's going to become a target before very long. Killing them only makes them want to laugh and say to themselves, "Lets do that again!" Though... some of us kind of look forward to when the opposing team starts trying to light us up. |

Try driving a double-speed mod fitted logi LAV through the narrow passages in Ashland without bumping into stuff and come back and tell us how you fared. |

Since a while, I always look to light them up, from the start of the game to the end.
It change the gameplay of a match, and for me this is good, bring you out of your normal game mode and bring you back on your toe. To bad it does make alot of people rage, me included sometime.
When it frustrate me, it is more because he came from behing, I could hear him miles ahead, but he isn't on the damn radar until he is right over me. Which I dont understand, since I can notice a Scout before that... |

Tanks are as buff as they should get. LAVs are way over-buffed. |

They are fast I agree, but it is a problem which feel wierd, everyone can notice a Hummer in real life which is 100 meters away, coming at you at full speed, unless he is on pavement with is electric engine, not sure why a suit from the futur can't track a jeep coming. CCP could get LAV more visible on the map, it would solve alot of issue regarding it being a murder taxi. Single seater will be the vehicle of choice to sneak up anyway, once they release them. |

I just provided an explanation of why it might be working as it does now, not what is should be like.
What you describe is something that they have said they want in the game. |

Honestly all weapons suck and one particular AR rules the game. Your SP is yours to spend on whatever the hell you want but I find flavors of the month and things that are obviously broken to be poor investments. CCP basically nerfed every weapon in the game all to hell except for one so there's a pretty good change it isn't going to stay like this. |

One AR is best of the lot, but they dominate as a group. It has been true for many builds. |

I honestly like that everyone is getting into their LAVs. My KDR is going up nicely due to full carts rushing about. Not to mention bull fighting an LAV is becoming a personal goal. Its fun, so please, please, keep driving these LAVs! 
EDIT: you know whats better than bull fighting a LAV? Bull fighting 2 or 3! :D |
