Delirium Inferno wrote:My biggest tip would be not to skip the tutorials and not to spend any skill points. This game isn't that complicated, but if you go in blind it may appear that way. Also all skill points spent are final, so don't spend any now. Stick to militia gear, you'll see a tab for it in the market. Militia gear requires no skill points to use, this is where you should start to test out various roles. Once you figure out what you for sure want, take the time to read the skill descriptions (press triangle over the skill) to make sure they are what you think they are.
While this would be correct, there is a skill respec coming.

File a petition for this and spend your skill points on different weapons and suits and see what you like most, then when the skill respec comes, get what your favorite was. |

I have a question perhaps someone can assist me with.
I am a Black Ops ( 1 & 2) player and way back in the day used to be a WoW player (Burning Crusade Era). I was wondering if there were images of the maps that exist in Dust like there have been for God and WoW to use to get a generic idea of the map you're headed I to. I realize and completely understand an image is no substitute for actually playing and learning with the map but I also hate the idea of going in blind. |

Great so since I dont know anyone, this is going to be painful... If you join a Corp you can squad up with others from that Corp. Just put LFS (Looking For Squad) in Corp chat and wait for an invite.
The training Corps are very new player friendly. DUST University is the DUST version of EVE University which you are probably familiar with. BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades is another training Corp which originated in DUST. Either would be a good choice.
Of course this post has gotten a lot of attention, so there may be some here willing to take you on and train you themselves. |
