The most frustrating thing as an Armor tanker is watching a logi you know has armor reps completely ignore you, and you have no way to communicate with him.
You can tell me to squad up with a logi bro all you want, but you could say the same about the revive icon.
So I suggest that if you got damage on your armor, but you still have more than 75% HP of your armor, you will only see the icon at very close range.
If someone got less than 75% armor, then you can see his icon at medium range.
Less than 50% means long range.
And 25% means the same range as 50% only the icon turns red.
It shouldn't be too long, the last thing I want is to see too much clutter on the screen.
It also shouldn't appear until 3 seconds have passed, otherwise you will see constant flashing icons of people about to die. |

You have to realize that it can be tough to keep up with repairing everyone. Some of us might taking care of someone else, might be devoted to taking care of only their squad, you could be doing something stupid, or they are preoccupied with making an entirely different tactical decision. There are times when we just can't get to you, or won't get to you.
So when its just me, a logi, and a fully healed heavy and yet he keeps his rep tool on him even though the enemy is miles away.
Yup, totally legit.
This crap is much much more common than you think and its annoying as hell. |
