The most frustrating thing as an Armor tanker is watching a logi you know has armor reps completely ignore you, and you have no way to communicate with him.
You can tell me to squad up with a logi bro all you want, but you could say the same about the revive icon.
So I suggest that if you got damage on your armor, but you still have more than 75% HP of your armor, you will only see the icon at very close range.
If someone got less than 75% armor, then you can see his icon at medium range.
Less than 50% means long range.
And 25% means the same range as 50% only the icon turns red.
It shouldn't be too long, the last thing I want is to see too much clutter on the screen.
It also shouldn't appear until 3 seconds have passed, otherwise you will see constant flashing icons of people about to die. |

I would hate that so much, please don't do this.
You have to realize that it can be tough to keep up with repairing everyone. Some of us might taking care of someone else, might be devoted to taking care of only their squad, you could be doing something stupid, or they are preoccupied with making an entirely different tactical decision. There are times when we just can't get to you, or won't get to you. |

So when its just me, a logi, and a fully healed heavy and yet he keeps his rep tool on him even though the enemy is miles away.

This crap is much much more common than you think and its annoying as hell. |

But...but...but...I really tried to repair your armor but the weapon wheel decided it would be cooler to switch to the nanohive, when it finally switched to my repair tool I had some trouble with locking on and when my repair tool decided to lock-on, it decided to lock on to that bluedot with full health next to you...

That Logi taking a clip to the face right there isnt too bright...When I rep, im looking to provide support while still getting some pie for myself. If some fatty and I are creeping around some tight cornered area ima stay with him and soak up some guardian points with a mix of triage and resupply points.
Now then, If i see a tank shredding some poor platoon, ima be allllll over that lol. What would be nice is perhaps something small that only folks with repair tools can see. Maybe a blinking "+" over the targets head. Nothing obnoxious, just a reminder that war points are right over thar. . .
I look at the field and see nothing but opportunites for me to take advantage of. Just makes me sad that I dont get WP for repping vehicles it seems, and I can soak up maybe 3 guardian assists before I cap out for...what ever amount of time. Im still foggy with all that nonsense... |

This already exists.... you can see all allies health bars. If the logi isn't looking around for who needs repairs then that's the logi's fault really. The indicator is already there. |

I know this situation from both sides and i'm pretty sure that huge amounts in efficiency are lost by this.

It's really sad that LogiBros are a rare breed and indicators are not going to change that. (We actually have one as Aquinarius Zoltanus already pointed out).
As a Logibro I do try to repair everyone or everything but there are several reasons that a person is not going to rep you because...
maybe we're too focused on our own squad we can't leave behind.
maybe we are too tired of bluedots running away.
maybe we are too tired of bluedots that think they are invincible with a repair-stream on them.
maybe we just don't like you.
maybe we can't be bothered because of the glitchy problems.
maybe we ask ourself "When was the last time I didn't get WP for killing people?" and go on a strike untill we get WP again from repairing.
maybe...
I could go on but that's not really the discussion here, how can we make all the repairtool users to repair you? Make it more rewarding? |
