Just bringing the old sights would be sufficient. Range should be marginally increased for all weapons, not just the LR. This act of shooting across from each other at a distance of 10 feet is getting old fast.
The time when the LR really excelled was during manus peak ambush matches. I think this caused the heavy nerf more than anything. Noobs where dead before they could bat an eyelid.

Well since they cant cream 3 protosuits in one single swipe anyomore then gun has stopped seeing much service lol.
I remember it touching me once in 600 hp hearing the Sizzle, dropping and at the same time see in the killfeed that it dropped 2 more people at the same time.

I don't mind the new sights, if only they'd tone down the glare and let me move the sight a little faster. The range is the problem, or the damage...one of the two. My Viziam loses in both categories to pretty much everything else.

Its close range has been, thats for sure. I was using a advanced gallente assault, and a guy was trying to kill me from close range with a LR.
I had maybe 10 armour left, and while any other weapon would have killed me, his just tickled and I killed him (he was a MLT caldari with half his shields left)
It was like shooting a tank with a AR. Pretty sad. |

I ran laser for a while, but once you start going up against decent players, they don't stand still any more. Plus the beam pains a big "I'm Right Here" sign over your head.

That is why there is a minimum of two LAV driver's running over people in each match right? Because it takes too much skill?

Don't compare the TAC with the pre-nerf Viziam. They're not even in the same league; the Viziam was far worse.
Now, from what I've seen, the Laser Rifles still have a decent DPS, but can't compete with any of the ARs. |
