Which is best assault dropsuit and why? And please, don't say logi because we all know that logi suits benefit assaults a lot, but a nerf should come really soon so I'm not taking any chances.
also, what could be the max shield and armor on that specific suit? |

It depends if you like shield or both. Caldari run on high shields. Minmitar run on high shields and are fast. Gelentai run on armor. Amarr run on both.
- Amarr, the enemy has to run through your shield then your armor.
Most assault runners run shield, Caldari assault... |

The G1 scout is cool, I use him alot, mainly because he is fast, but the downside is that his shield isn't so great.

With the emergence of the SCR, Caldari may be a liability tbh. I would say Gallente if you plan to use an AR, but Minmitar is nice too if you have the need for speed. Amarr if you plan to use the SCR, as its "bonus" makes it somewhat "unique".

I run Amarr Assault, always fun to see them blast your shields only to get stuck on the armor.
And it has allot of CPU & PG, though only limited slots. |

Amarr Assault is most versatile in my opinion.
Amarr are typically armor tankers but with the three high slots you can both armor and shield tank.
You can also forego shields for damage mods and go full armor to pretty much be a hard hitting Brinks truck.
Amarr assault also has the only useful racial bonus - 5% reduction to weapon overheat. We Amarr love our lasers (it's what God intended we use over rudimentary projectile weapons) so that racial bonus allows us to pew pew for a longer duration of time.
P.S. It feels awesome to have your shields blown away knowing you still have 400 plus armor for the enemy to eat through. |

Given the chance to start again with respec I might consider Amarr. Caldari shield tank gets torn asunder by the Scrambler rifle from my experience. Will be thinking long and hard before committing to anything this time round.
Caldari look cooler though. |
