Because my dropship just got taken out in 1 shot. It didn't say what weapon the guy was using, just that it did ~6k+ dmg.
Wasn't an RDV, none in sight. And someone was credited with the kill.

Ummm....nothing? The only thing that I think could come close is the Prototype Breach Forge Gun, which I unfortunately don't have the numbers in front of me to dish out.
At any rate, I don't believe anything in the game does other than a Precision Strike. |

It can't do 6k dmg, something close to 4.5k to engines with dmg mods. Maybe 2 forge guners simultaneously... |

It's likely you got hit with multiple Forge Gun slugs in quick succession.
I really wish CCP would have shield and armor values drop instantly instead of having them slide at a capped rate. It would make things like this much easier to look into, as well as give you an actual idea of how much damage you're really taking in combat.
Nothing beats hitting the ground before your armor counter reaches 25%. |

I had a railgun tank with stacked hybrid damagr mods equiped^ one shotted my prometheous 5300 hps on the dropship and the tank one sh9tted^
this is not suprising because the dropships are so weak no matter how much sp u throw into shield you will stil grt one shotted by a forge or tank... Cmon CCP dont let me down

Except you cannot triple stack damage mods on a heavy. Currently the most high slots the heavy can get is only two. |

If it was a null cannon or MCC Missile I doubt anyone would have gotten credit for the kill.
Maybe someone called in a vehicle and the Balos that delivered it collided with you.
Or perhaps another dropship rammed you, but it usually says the name of the vehicle if you are killed by one. |
