You stick with the 5k a match unless you buy boosters, in which case it's slightly more. 1.5 mil doesn't sound right for a weapon. A prototype (top tier) weapon works out to costing 600k SP. Dropsuit requirements are higher, and are arguably too high, but 1.5 mil will still pretty much put you in a protosuit. You get 24,000 SP per day passively, and probably 5k per ambush match, 10k per skirmish. The more you play the more SP you'll get, but there's a cap to prevent excessive grinding.
I recommend only going to ADV level with your weapon at first. This will take about 120k SP, with the prereqs of perhaps another 100k. This'll give you a solid weapon, which isn't too expensive and that should be sustainable. From there, get some equipment like nanohives, scanners, etc, and improve your dropsuit and defences.
The simple answer to your question is no.

Throbbing Pickle wrote:That's pretty intimidating. I have no clue how I'm supposed to get to that requirement for just one weapon other than playing constantly 24/7 for a week. And that's only for a primary; I still have to get a secondary and a frame.
ouch, my head hurts.
Remember you'll get plenty of passive SP, and that you don't actually need to go to the higher tier weapons. The difference between tiers is less than 10%, which ends up being a single bullet on the battlefield of difference. There's other stuff that widens this gap, but you should be able to fully deck out your suit with STD kit pretty quick, which can be a nice upgrade from militia. |

This quarter after the last Respec, I'm looking at wiping 12.000.000 SP and starting again. Take your time, keep your K/D ratio up, and most importantly, have fun. This. Respect for resetting at 12 mil, as well! |
