Better question, why is this even on the market without an ISK variation..... or even a hint when the isk variety might come back on to the market..... asked this about a week ago now.... but a dev/gm moved it to feedback and let my thread die..... without giving any answers... it was NOT feedback it was a CRY for information about the game. |

Why would you want an ISK contact grenade? It would make normal Locus grenades completely obsolete. |

Are these special compared to normal locus nades? Do they act more like fused than standard? I was killed by one the other day and it didnt appear to be cooked, but I honestly cant be 100% sure. Just enough to make me question it a bit. The name implies it would explode on contact... |

Fused nades on the market place for AUR are essentially pay to win. Without an ISK variant this seems to be going against everything CPP has said on the subject of pay to win. I agree it would make locus nades obsolete as this would become the new flavor of the month. |

You have to be skilled into advanced level of grenades before you can purchase them. I am still befuddled as to why CCP has not fixed this. More like we don't want pubs to be any worse then they already are by mass fuse nades.
But it's not a huge loss - these nades have very very small blast radius so require some skill to use. |

Well, I would prefer to have something done about this; as the CPM is too busy exploiting a poor game mechanic, I figure we should all benefit from the fact that:
M-2 Contact Locus grenade is special because it has 18cpu 3pg & 600 splash damage for a 2.5M radius... it explodes when it hits something - a very good thing to have in CQC with FF off......
while on the isk side
Core Locus grenade 48cpu 6pg & 600 splash damage for a 7.2M radius.
--Don't forget the Explosives skill is broken and does nothing to the CPU of Explosives as far as I have tested & is a 2X (currently)
can't tell you how many of my loadouts/ suits could benefit from getting 20cpu and 3pg by using the Aur variety over the isk variants.
FYI CCP themselves said in the Beta original ISK cavity thukkers were far too OP and removed them from the market; so it only makes sense that they allow a player to buy this little treat for 20 Aurum or the other CONTACT locus grenade from the merc packs. |

Because right now its Pay 2 Win, not Pay 2 Get stuff faster, I'd prefer if they're just removed from the game, because otherwise they'll become the new panic button. |
