There's already no reason for EVE pilots to do orbitals (not that different or more frequent than war barge versions), and if we could shoot them out of the sky without them being able to counter-attack... there'd be even fewer reasons for them to hang around. |

The only ships that do orbital bombardments on the eve side right now are ships with small guns, so mostly destroyers. Roughly 15m isk in hardware, as Dust interacts with EVE in the current state there is no reason to risk anything more then a destroyer. Now with CCP delaying PC bonus to the EVE side there is no reason to get involved with Dust unless you are trying to support your own Dust sister corp. So to put a Skyfire battery in dust at this point would be a waste of effort, that could be used in other places that need it badly. |

sadly that video is 2 years old and still looks way better then what we have now.... almost think ccp should have made a single player / 4 man coop game also i would love to see a RTS of eve kinda like sins of a solar empire. that would be epic. and more fun. |

Then why included it in every trailer along with PvE? WHY?
They should tell us they are doing everything they can to make the gamemodes and game play match what they use to get us to play. |

They are already said they're working on it, and that its much more difficult to do then EVE players striking Dust players. |

I believe that that video was shot on the old Carbon engine. Better graphics than on the Unreal 3. However, it was too powerful for the PS3, and was scrapped for that reason.
Which set back the production of DUST some way. |
