Curious to what people think about the stuff they got in them. Seem a little pricey to me but the 99 dollar pack seems to come with everything one would ever need hah. |

i know two people who have bought one or the other. from what i hear the dren stuff isnt really worth having if you have skinweaves so i'm just going for the 20 and 50 packs, i like the look of the covenant suit and it'd be nice having just a basic sniper rifle and i'd liek a toxic AR for my smg. as for a shottie bpo i've just ordered a keyboard from amazon which comes with the daemon shottie bpo |

I got elite pack. Which would be awesome but the scrambler pistol and swarm launcher have basic stats but militia fitting. |

I bought both, and if there was a donate money to CCP option i would donate just as much if not even more. If you want to play for free then do it, the packs are filled with novelty items that won't change an outcome of any game.
You're gullible and stupid if you can't make enough money to spend on your hobbies, not the other way around. |

I bought the elite pack. If you look at the cost of only aur, and then note the amount of aur given in each of the packs you will note that the cost of the pack is equivalent to purchases the same amount of aur only. Thus all the other goodies in the pack are simply bonus.
Thus for anyone that will end up buying any aur, you might as well get the advantage of the extra bonuses of these packs instead of buying straight aur. |

Note: If you use a DS3 a cheap keyboard, a mouse and a nice mouse pad is much cheaper and will probably (not always) improve your game way more then the items in the packs will give you. Also after 6 or so matches restart your PS3 (maybe even let it cool down for 15 min)...and be sure to turn off all the auto crap in your PS3...this will also improve your game greatly.
Actually if u do a full shutdown and wait 25 min after every 3 matches it works wonders. |

Bought the 99 pack. Never arrived, now got a week pending support ticket at Sony. Had to petition ccp, then Nordic films (Sony partner) who petitioned Sony. I guess in halfway now, as soon Sony should contact ccp and I can hope to get the stuff :) |

I picked up the Elite pack for my Alt char. It was a bit of a splurge but I have been capping my main by the weekend so I figured I would be playing a lot on the alt pretty consistently. Elite made no sense on my main because I pretty much had everything it offered already in one form or another. Since I am not really spending any SP on the alt except in a few core skills (waiting until most dropsuits/vehicles are available) it is really nice have "Type-1" BPO's in all classes as well as a few decent weapons. Definitely makes the grind a lot more bearable.
As for the cost...the way I figure it...for just over 25 cents a day I get to up the fun ratio a little bit for the next year. No regrets. |

I got the daemon shotgun from the bt headset offer.
The packs are not particularly expensive if you keep in mind you pay easily 15$ per month on an mmo subscription, and the bpos are just extras on top of the real deal aurum amounts.
They are not op and people that like to collect stuff like me help with the development. I say ccp should offer more vanity items as meta 1 bpos. You would not use them for any important battles anyway. |

I've spend 12 months on Dust now and dropped about -ú60 on it, hardly much now is it for all the fun I've had. The vet pack is actually really really good. I love my passive booster and my blood raider saga looks sexy and is so lethal I'm gonna have to dump more sp into vehicle skills now :)
Oh and the covenant suit is really nice with its colour scheme and 2/2 slot layout, it's perfect for a full bpo suit. |

I did the $20 Merc pack just to get in and do something.
Burned through about 1/3 the AUR on various tests of weapons over the course of a week or so.
Was feeling a little confined in the Dragonfly / Toxin combo so went ahead and picked up the Elite pack for $100.
Enjoying the vehicles and suits, no doubt.
Considering all duds I've pulled the trigger on lately - Diablo 3, Sim City, MechWarrior Online, FireFall, STO, XCOM... this is getting away cheap.

Well, after having dropped on the Second Decade set and about $65 of AUR and the original Merc Pack... the new, more expensive packs just aren't worth it. The game still has yet to balance against what I have spent so far, I just can't justify dropping anything else on it. |

The Elite pack just isn't worth the money. The Dren AR is exactly the same as the Toxin and Exile AR's, so no point in that. A standard Swarm Launcher costs 1500 isk and is equal to the Swarm BPO so screw that. Shotguns are not that great, so you won't be using that Dren shotty BPO. The Toxin SMG is the superior sidearm so you won't be using the Dren Scrambler Pistol BPO. The Ishukone LAV is exactly the same as the Blood Raider LAV stat-wise, so if you really wanted a LAV the Veteran pack would sort you out. |

Two folks in my corp thus far have the elite packs and love the bpos and boosters. Ill probably get the vet pack next pay day as iv already got 2 closed beta and 2 open beta merc packs lol. Maby one day when im feeling flush ill get the elite pack. |
