So just to be clear this is the game and not me trust me i checked.
Anyways most of the time when i go to sprint (DS3 by the way) it will often pull up the scoreboard or even the actual playing field map.
As you can imagine this is quite annoying.
My Ds3 is not charging well playing just thought i'd let you know. |

Appia Vibbia wrote:people claim that it is a problem with the controller being old. something faulty happens. once a picture of the DS3 and where this could occur was posted. which makes sense that if that were the problem hitting L3 may inadvertently cause signal input from the D-pad because the wires are close.
But for me, L3 is a crapshoot. only happens when in CQC, and may bring up the OMS menu. the leaderboad, the map. Here are the fun ones: L3 makes me Jump. L3 makes me shoot, and L3 also lobs grenades.
These problems were occurring on the keyboards before, haven't seen any recent posts about it still happening. Also haven't seen anyone mention using one of the new control styles ok thanks |

Malkai Inos wrote:Banjo Hero wrote:This is totally fixable. http://youtu.be/utyGiSH3rnsIt's a problem with the PS3's controllers. I had the same issue with both of mine, but much, much worse (to the point of being completely unusable) with the older one. Did this fix, 'cept I used e-tape rolled into a little cylinder of about the right size instead of the foam double-sided tape that this guy used. Haven't had any problems since. Chiming in to confirm that this is likely the issue. Had two controllers of varying age (both older than a year) that had your described issue. The fix in the video worked on both (one month without any fault by now). Kaeralli Sturmovos wrote:this came up for me as well but not scoreboard the orbital menu poped up for me. Due to lacking pressure on the circuit tape, pressing L3 (or even normal use in more severe cases) makes the signal register as digipad strokes. So anything from map to vehicle menu can trigger seemingly at random. Quite aggravating if you don't know the cause.
I don't seem to be getting the problem that much anymore. Thanks for the tips and stuff though. :) |
