As the leaders of the free mercenary world, The Imperfects by nature are non aggressive. However, targeting civilian installations with the intent to harm innocent bystanders is unacceptable. Moreover, Delta Force doing so voluntarily is unforgivable.

At this time, The Imperfects are here by declaring war on Delta Force and will be launching a massive offensive in the up and coming days. You're a threat to every innocent civilian in the system, thus giving us no other choice. Let this be a lesson to all. Targeting civilians will never ever be acceptable.

As a combatant, Protoman would have been a valid target, a casualty which we responded to as part of the evolving hostility. He would have emerged from the CRU to exact his own revenge. The casualty in this case was a civilian. When our opponent found that they could not breach our defences, they lashed out at non-combatants and murdered a mortal.

I don't think total immersion is particularly well supported at present, so IC explanations for OOC actions are necessarily somewhat light-spirited and may contain a modicum of godmode in the form of narrating the experiences of actors we do not control, for ease of storytelling. This is something that in strict RP I would be totally against. I'm not going to bite your head off for posting OOC when IC statements are made.
