unless orbitals work differently for PC than regular fighting, that means that in all likelyhood a lot of imps died, and they're just trying to make protoman a martyr for some reason. Protoman was not attacked from orbit. As a combatant, Protoman would have been a valid target, a casualty which we responded to as part of the evolving hostility. He would have emerged from the CRU to exact his own revenge.
The casualty in this case was a civilian. When our opponent found that they could not breach our defences, they lashed out at non-combatants and murdered a mortal. |

RP, at this stage of the game, is a strange hybrid of IC and OOC. I don't think total immersion is particularly well supported at present, so IC explanations for OOC actions are necessarily somewhat light-spirited and may contain a modicum of godmode in the form of narrating the experiences of actors we do not control, for ease of storytelling. This is something that in strict RP I would be totally against.
I'm not going to bite your head off for posting OOC when IC statements are made. |
