Surprisingly I faced a flaylock-wielding merc with just my knives and I was able to dip and dodge his shots without even trying to sprint around him (yay, strafing). It took like only one shot out of the 10 or so shots he fired at me even when I was close to him. |

I know right? We should all only be using tac rifles, imdho this game is not enough like COD, I mean I know this is a science fiction game set in the future but bullets should NOT be permitted to blow up, just to unrealistic and breaks my immersion, there is nothing like that now nor will there ever be. Besides I don't like them, EITHER of them, because they are stupid to use and I keep dieing while in cover, that is unbalanced as hell. That is why I like to drop a hive and spam a few locus grenades, can clear an entire room with even the militia variant so the flaylock and MD don't stand a chance against me lol. |

Flaylock has an incredibly pitiful amount of splash, so don't even try to say that it is a better Mass Driver. Unless you get a direct hit with it, it's absolutely useless. As for the Mass Driver, well, we all know it's broken, but it has longer range (if you know how to use it), wider splash radius and produces a massive amount of smoke (as in, so much that you can't even see through it. Two words: incredibly disorienting). |

Honestly, I think the MD is kind of broken, especially now the Flaylock is in. Because let's all ask ourselves, what is the Mass Driver really? A grenade launcher. In my mind, a grenade launcher with explosive rounds should do a shitload of direct damage. If not a one-hit-kill, a one-and-a-third. Militia against militia. Now before anyone screams imbalance, the clip should also be minuscule to compensate. Maybe keep the MD as it is now as one of the variants. Hell, make a variant now that does more damage, but has a smaller clip and slower fire rate.
Basically, I agree with the idea that a mini-rocket pistol shouldn't be more effective at killing people than a grenade launcher. |

Weapon diversity on the field (as opposed to on the market) is pitifully small right now. Uprising needs to rework it's various alterations/bugs so that weapons outside the AR line are viable again. I've been revering to my militia AR over weapons I have SP into just because it's more combat viable currently.
