As an eve and dust player, it does strike me as odd that you have changed the ability to increase power grid on a basic skill to just decrease cpu cost. From the numbers I saw you can only get a maximum upgrade to base power grid of 5%, but a 30% bonus to CPU. And i have to say, CPU is almost never an issue but power grid is the major roadblock stopping tankers/pilots from fitting their vehicle with upper meta level modules. I firmly believe you should change the fitting skill back to how it should be, a bonus to power grid amount. think about how EVE players would react to their PG being cut by 25%, it would make the Jita riots look like a joke. |

o man it sucked dealing with all those AV nades and missing the PG bonus my tanks were being destroyed 1-2 a match
the hp buff was a step in the right direction but we still need that pg bonus it makes a huge difference for our tanks
honestly id even be happy with a 4% pg skill per level considering the core skill gives 1% a level |

I'm not a tanker but i agree that the engineering skill is stupid. No one will ever train it. Change it to 3% more powergrid / level.
Hell, even 2% / level would be good. |

Agreed, the Engineering skill should give a bonus to overall powergrid, that is what it does for dropsuit engineering, and for the engineering skill in EVE also, Powergrid Upgrades is the skill that reduces CPU consumption for powergrid modules in EVE, should be the same in Dust. |

I think everyone wants this except Blam!. I was told it is to balance new pilots vs. vet pilots, which makes no sense. The vet will always win, so it doesn't matter.

A lack of PG upgrades means a lack of repairers and armor plates. This then translates into a lack of survivability, so we are then forced to sit on hills like chumps taking potshots at installations with our railguns for WP instead of being frontline infantry support, pushing into heavily fortified enemy positions. I dont spend 1.1 million ISK on my madruger so i can make kamikaze runs, which, even with hardeners, is what it boils down to now. |

The only time I die is when I forget to turn my modules (in 1v1 HAV slap fights) Last time that happened was weeks ago |

Plus, the current boost it gives (lowering CPU usage of powergrid expansion modules) is complete bullshit - the top tier mod only uses 20 CPU!!!!
Joy, i can't wait to recover that 5 cpu, cause i just need it so badly..

a 25% cpu reduction to a module that only requires 26 cpu at most is ridiculous as cpu is hardly ever an issue with vehicle fittings lest look at this by the numbers
Vehicle Engineering LV1 (12,440sp) -5% cpu reduction to module
-powergrid expansion unit I cpu:15 (14.25 with lv1) - additional training (13.5 lv2,12.75 lv3, 12 lv4 ,11.25 lv5) (-3.75cpu saved max) +10% pg
-powergrid diagnostic system I cpu:26 (24.7 with lv1) - additional training ( 23.4 lv2, 22.1 lv3, 20.8 lv4 19.5 lv5) (6.5cpu saved max) +5% pg, shield, shield recharge
Vehicle Engineering LV3 (136,800sp) -15% cpu reduction to module
-beta powergrid expansion unit cpu:14 (11.9 with lv3) - additional training (11.2 lv4, 10.5 lv5) (3.5cpu saved max) +12% pg
-beta powergrid diagnostic system cpu:21 (17.85 with lv3) - additional training (16.85 lv4, 15.80 lv5) (5.2cpu saved max) +4% pg, shield, shield recharge
Vehicle Engineering LV4 (310,920sp) -20% cpu reduction to module
-local powergrid expansion unit cpu:20 (16 with lv4) - additional training (15 lv5) (5cpu saved max) +15%pg
-local powergrid diagnostic system cpu:25 (20 with lv4) - additional training (18.75 lv5) (6.25cpu saved max) +7% pg, shield, shield recharge
Vehicle Engineering LV5 (621,840sp) not required -25% cpu reduction to module
and looking at the numbers i see that for a grand total of 621,840sp spent, just to save my self 6.5cpu at best?
i dont see a point at even going to lv5 with the skill when at lv4 you get all the modules and can still save 5.2cpu for the highest cpu drawing module, instead of spending an additional 310,920sp for the meager 1.3cpu difference not even worth the sp.
however if it were +5%pg/lv for the vehicle with the highest pg output of 2690pg your looking at a increase of 134.5pg/lv, that barely covers one 60mm reinforced nanofibre plate and four times that to cover the pg requirements for one 120mm reinforced nanofibre plate, and a tanker needs more hp then they do cpu reduction for pg modules. |

I don't care how we get it. a buff in the tank , added skills, or a change in the already available skills. But tanks really need our PG back. |
