Answer: If attacking, without a district, the remaining clones will be sold back to your corporation for 1/4 of the price.
If you do have a district, they will be sent back to it.

Yes unless your side managed to destroy more than 150
Example: Your side kills 151 clones, than the losers lose 151 clones. If your side kills 40 clones, defenders still lose 150 clones. I am not sure what happens to the attacker's clones if they lose due to MCC destruction.

You only have to pay 80 million for starter packs. You can simply move clones from your district to the enemies to send an attack. And yes, there will have to be a third battle if the defending team has a remaining 40 clones after the 150 clone loss.

Like explained before, Clones don't always have to be purchase if you are producing though districts. I'm not sure what happens if the defenders have a no show but I've been told the defenders have a forfeit and lose the district in one battle. What I feel is when talking about 450 clone defenders, they would have to no show 3 times.

basically CCP is going to have change a bunch for Non-District holding Corps who are Attacking.
Nothing about this has to change. Basically they're sending a message shouting: Get a district to save & make more ISK

If you lose under 150 clones, you will only lose 150 clones. There is no losing 40 clones and then losing an additional 150 clones, which would be 190 clones. If you lose 140 Clones in a match, you will only lose another 10.
Which means you'll probably see Defenders rushing out and then if they're losing, wait until they lost about 140 and then fall back so they won't suffer a slight penalty for the next battle. (If they have like 300 I s'pose)
To clarify things, losing defenders will ALWAYS lose atleast 150 clones. If the attacker manages to exceed over 150 clone kills than that is the definite clone kill amount.
Example: Attackers kill 170 Defenders. Defenders lose 170 clones. |
