Planetary Conquest battle should reward 20-30k or more SP. These battles are where most of the "Core" corp are having fun. I believe PC can help separate core corps from pubs if they get more than enough SP from PC battles. I mean if a were able to cap out on SP just from PC battles i wouldn't spend a second in pub matches. I should be able to play 5-10 PC battles a week and cap out on SP instead of grinding away in boring pub matches. |

Agreed. There's nothing worse than having to take a break from the fun part of a game because it's now "grind the bad parts of the game just for character progression" time. |

I get the impression that PC battles have enough rewards already, why increase the SP awarded? The reward for PC should be from the fact that you become in essence "landed nobility", that is reward enough. |

The point is people want PC to be a viable way to play the game, including progressing their character, not play PC and then have to screw around with your 10 hours of pub matches per week to get your SP. |

Your character will still progress, besides isn't SP just a crutch? Isn't "l33t gungame skillz" all that is needed? You'd think that with all of the pre-PC bluster of how busy IE would be with PC, you wouldn't need to worry about anything else. |

I agree, pub stomping is not fun for vet players or for players learning the game. Either that or allow us to form full teams for faction warfare instead of forcing us to q sync. |

I hate getting pub stomped by you guys, and I do groan every time I see a stack of you guys in the same game as me, on the opposite side, but this is a silly idea. PC gives your corps big money, big money to get you into another territorial rush, free proto's or freebie tanks provided by your corps, why would this also pad your skills. When things like Faction Warfare (which is a money maker in Eve) has no benefits yet, why should PC offer not only great payouts for the winner and an SP boost?
If we were talking about a game that was more fleshed out for all play styles (Drone NPC Missions for the carebears much like mining for Eve carebears, Faction Warfare with actual meaning and rewards for the middle ground aswell as pub matches, and PC for the "null sec l337" players) then perhaps. But right now, with so few districts and such a high monetary hurdle to overcome to even get into PC, throwing on a SP hurdle will only hurt your game, actually all of our games, in the long run. |

no im not talking about PC giving us increased SP gain on top of what we already get. what i mean is this......as soon as the reset happens on wednesday, if a play 6-10 PC battles during that week then i should be able to cap out on sp. this only means that i would cap out very early. once i cap out then every other battle should reward the normal 1000-1500 sp |

And I understand that, but it will still be an unfair skill progression for those with versus those without. I know you, you are a good player, but I will assume that as things are now you usually cap out about Saturday or Sunday right? Two days of 1k-1.5k SP, and yes I know this sucks as you feel like you are doing sod all for two days or so, but we all run into this issue to some degree, but if PC allows you to cap out earlier you are not only getting your SP cap, but increasing the time you have to grind out the 1k-1.5k SP, thus multiplying how much SP you can get versus what those without can. |

Yes because its so much better to AFK your SP than to just play 10 games of PC to cap out........
Seriously this would be a good idea as it would be a way to slow down the whole AFK problem. |

If you don't think the game is worth more than AFKing, don't play it. When I start up Dust on my PS3, I play the game I started (aside from the times I fall asleep or get pulled AFK while in my MQ). Don't use "It'll stop AFKers" as an excuse to pile on even more rewards to PC (especially since we still have no rewards for FW aside from those found in pubs). |
