100,000 online at the same time will likely never happen unless there is some kind of event running. Also, a lot of those 7000 will be new players trying the game out as it has just been released. |

That number wasn't accurate. They were either including EVE players, not logging people out or there was a bug during that time. It went from around 4000 to 50,000 then back to around 4000 a couple of days later. |

That was an error, it added dust numbers to EVE, so the current 7k is the new record. You can check the totals here |

Um... the Tranquility servers have peaked at over 64,000 players online at once and I believe that was during the recent celebration of Eve Online's 10th birthday on May 5 this year. |

I'm not surprised. I was hyped about Defiance, especially about the show. But the show flopped and I just couldn't bear to watch it. I only liked the 2nd episode but that's it. I'm glad I'm sticking with Dust 514. |
